I really like this product. It has great battery life and is well worth the money. If you're not trying to spend too much on a portable DVD player, this is the one to get. The screen is a great size, the sound is incredible, and it has a 'Setup' option where you can adjust just about everything to make your viewing experience better. It has a jack for your headphones which makes it a lot easier to hear on plane rides and makes it better for everyone on those long car trips. This model also comes with a remote to make it even easier to control your movies. Perfect for Toddlers

I purchased the DVD player for my granddaughter (2 1/2) so that it would be more fun for her to "sit" in her chair when we went out to dinner. It really serves its purpose. She loves it. It adds about 15 - 20 minutes of peace to
the meal and usually allows the adults to finish. It also helps in the car if the trip is too long. I researched for ease of use and value and found this one to be above average in both. Hopefully, everything else I purchase on EBAY will be as close to perfect. Thank you!Read full review...

Coby 7in screen Portable DVD Player

I recently purchased a Coby portable DVD Player. I had been looking for one for a whiel and had done my reserch. I wasn't looking for one with a huge screen (besides those cost more) and I found it!r>
It has a seven inch screen, good speakers, and it came witn a nifty credit card sized remote control. The picture is amazing and its as wide as a DVD case is tall so its not terrible huge which is wat I was looking for in a "Portable" DVD Player.

The Battery Life was what I was most concerned with! I was worried about the battery being able to last for a whiel, and this one was great! I last for a little over two hours, and the light on the front of it turns red before it gose into a waiting mode. It gives you time to hurry and plug it in before it gose dead, and then you can resume your movie from the exact point from were it "paused".

Overall I was happy to get a good deal on ebay, and the product has not yet let me downe, I was a bit weary, but my expectations have been met and are also exceeded.Read full review...

No dual layer support

It's a decent player with support for file system listings, which is convenient. No need to convert video files to the proper video DVD format. However, I was totally disappointed by the lack of support for DVD+R DL (dual layer) disks. I don't keep originals in my car, I make copies, and it's easier to copy the DVD as is. But to use this player, I'll need to run my collection through DVD Shrink to make it fit ordinary DVD+R disks. That's inconvenient and time consuming. Such shortcoming should have been noted clearly in the product description.Read full review...

This is a nice little player. The built in battery holds a charge rather well. The unit plays my personal DVD/VCDs perfectly. The screen is clear with adequate sound. I would like to have had audio and video input to be able to use this as a game/computer monitor, but you can't have everything.Read full review...
