this device has alerted me a couple of times and that was helpful, but I've driven directly behind a highway patrol a couple of times also and it stayed silent - even though it usually goes off almost constantly, picking up the big rig's signals. and any other signal I happen to drive by. Tthe age of Cobra products has now passed

Over the years I have owned several Cobra products and really top of the line but this ESD7570 Is on the level JUNK. The lights are very dim and the sound is non existent, the normal wind noise in the car covers up the alarms when a radar is detected. Do not buy the it will be throwing your money away.
