Might need duck tape

Good Quality door. easy to install, The only trouble i had was with the velcro it wasn't sticky enough for the top of the door used duck tape so it wouldnt keep falling down. rest of door held up fine. I would reccomend this door just use stronger velcro from the get go. when all else fails use duck tape.Read full review...

Mixed feelings

Two for the price of one is a good deal for the mesh screen. I say this because the screen is extremely fragile, and the velcro is prone to detaching. On the other hand, when installed correctly and I use some tacks to make sure nothing comes apart, this is an effective product. It will last for a couple of months before the mesh tears, so it's always good to have a replacement handy. I would buy it again despite the marginal quality.Read full review...

It works but you have to be careful when installing it because it is easy to install where it doesn't close well. I had to star over. It is made of light material that may not last too long but time will tell. Read full review...

Love these

I love these screens since I have three dogs and often cook on the deck. However, and yes three dogs, the dogs rip them pretty easily. I usually go through about five a year but still worth the convenience. They are very easy to install and I am sure they would stand up to daily use even with a pet.Read full review...

Fun training the Dogs to go through it.

Installed for about a week. The instruction were ok and easy to follow. The only thing I had to do is add a strip directly across the top of the middle were the magnets were weighing it down and it would not close by itself without that being fixed. The true problem was the screen was not square and when it was pulled tight across the top and squarely pulled down both sides the magnets could not meet in the middle. So, i had to give it some slack on 1 side which caused it to sag in the middle under the weight of the magnets which also caused it not to close by itself until I added the the extra support. Gave it only 4 stars for not being square.Read full review...

Works very well! Bugs don't bug us anymore!

This product works great, but we'd add only one thing.
Put in some extra brass tacks or thumb tacks all around the border to strengthen the connection to the door frame.
Velcro is fine but the whole screen was more taut and more snug when we added the tacks.
We LOVE it and our dogs learned how to use it after just a few tries and some treats as an incentive on the other side. All my friends love it and they usually say, "Hey, can I try that again?" and go back and forth a few times for fun. I got a few extra to give as gifts and people have no clue what it is until you set it up and they are amazed that it's nicer than a screen door frame that actually takes up room when you open it.
My parents live in a senior apartment and have a 4x6 foot deck with 2 deck chairs.
A traditional screen door with a frame would not work because it would bump the chairs when opened onto the small deck. This way they can leave their balcony door open and the screen protects them from mosquitoes and now all their friends want one too. Great bug screen that I never originally considered the space saving benefit!

Good idea, poor quality

this is a very good idea for a screen for the many who don't have screen doors. It needs stronger glue, and velcro attaching parts as it wont stay on the door frame and the velcro tears and comes apart..... I may be able to use better quality velcro and double stick tape and get some actual use out of it........ When it is up, it does work pretty well.Read full review...

magic mesh magnetic door screen

Said they would send 2 screens but only sent 1. It started falling apart/tearing at the top about 2 days after installation. Good idea but poorly executed from a quality standpoint. Really wish it had worked better because I'm in a rent house on a carribean island with a lot of bugs. Can't install a real screen door.

Not bad

They were exactly what I expected. They do work very very well. He said they were shipping from Chino California but they definitely came from overseas. Chino to Portland would be normally at the most two days but they did arrive faster than I expected no matter where they came from.Read full review...

Pay an extra few bucks for the real thing

I gave it 2 stars because it is the least expensive such product on ebay, but that's the best I can say about them. The adhesive strips failed to adhere to the door frame. They didn't even stick to the screen itself. It includes thumb tacks as a work-around, but they too are flimsy and stap every time I try to push them in. There aren't enough tacs or straps even if they did work. Leaves gaps around the edges. Leaves gaps in the middle because there are not enough magnets, and the magnets are not strong to self-close. Just spend the 20 bucks to get the real thing. Read full review...
