We're older people so going room to room is so easy. The gate is so easy to set up no tools needed, and easy to adjust the size. You can take a screwdriver and four screws and make it ridged. It also opens in or out with small door in gate door. Just a well designed product.Read full review...

This is a sturdy metal gate & the small pet door is good. The gate latch is easy to work even one handed! The actual gate opening is only about 17" wide which seems a little small to me. The description mentions the small pet door size, but should also mention the gate opening. If I were using the small pet door, I would tie wrap it open. I love this gate. I have a black lab, 2 toy Chihuahuas and a 2-year old grandson. This gate is perfect. It keeps the dogs separated and yet when the Chihuahuas want to come out they can. It keeps the grandson from going where I can't see him and best of all, I love that the gate opens and you don't have to climb over it or remove. And it has extra extensions if you have a wider door. Excellent sturdy gates
