only if you can handle hardcore historical romance

I like it its a historical romance and thats how it was back then..I admit he was a little harsh and crass at times but i really did like the ending..

Most historical romance novels are like that and i have read worst with actual rape not nearly raped. if you can't handle this book then you should go for that romance candle light dinner thing harlequin present books (not hating on harlequin books i love them), but other than that i thought the book was good not bad for Johanna early work

its like i always say a bad reivew can really downplay a good book and a good review can really up play a bad book, because of some of the bad reviews for this book I almost didn't read it but i'm glad i change my mindRead full review...

A bit convoluted, but still worth the read

This is one of Johanna Lindsey's earlier works, and her writing style was still being developed and perfected. As for as content, it's pure fantasy rough sex, with a spanking or two thrown in by the very alpha male. The main characters are still engaging; but if realistic plot lines are your thing, you're going to be disappointed. It's still a fun read if you're willing to buy into the storyline. This has always been my favorite of Johanna Lindsey books. This one draws me in So much that I can see the scenes in my mind. It's my own personal movie that I create. I'm loving it.

The best book

I love this book! To me this is one of the best books Johanna Lindsey has ever wrote. I think for someone to actually like this book you have to be a fan of her books that have abduction involved. I love the idea of being in Egypt and since that is where she was kidnapped and taken too. I just love this book and the romance is just breath-taking. I love it!
