This is just a miracle. I scan, copy, and print all the documents without problems. The print quality is excellent. I used to have 3 items before: a scanner HP, a copier CANON and a printer Samsung. It took up a lot of space. Now I have only one subject - Printer 3-in-1 CANON D530. Low quality printer

Difficult to set up printer, set-up and operation manual essentially useless. On double-side print, the paper ALWAYS hangs. Double side print is the default, and setting for single side print is difficult, and not shown in manual. Operation of function controls is not intuitive, and is not explained in manual. It prints well and does so inexpensively. The set up cost me a day's work.

The copier is a good copier. It prints well and the cartridges are inexpensive through v4ink. The negative thing is that the printer driver that was available did not work on the first several tries. I had to get an IT person to get the printer to work with the driver. Read full review...

Pretty awesome for the money!

For the price I thought this would not be very good but took the chance. Copy is fast, print is fast, quality is good, easy to use not one of those machines you have to read manuals to figure out. Good performance, value, speed, quiet; only a couple of small negatives.

Using this on a Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit desktop server, for everyday printing from numerous computers at home.

Good, solid printer; small footprint and paper cassette make a big difference. Fast, fairly quiet, simple software install, and painless group-share.

Only negative is the physical setup manual, which is composed of stupid pictures with no verbal explanation at all, with steps 1/2 on the left page, 3/4 on the right: just stupid and counterintuitive. This turned out to be VERY bothersome to physically set up because of those lousy setup pictures.

Only previous B&W laser printer I've had is a Brother 5240, which was a GREAT printer, but didn't have scanning options, which I need to have.

I would recommend this printer to a friend with the only caveat being the top clearance issue when the lid is fully raised. The only negative relative to this is that once you let go of the scanner's lid, it crashes down. There should be a simple hydraulic, spring, or friction mechanism to let it down slowly so as not to smash the scanning surface.Read full review...

Fantastic deal for the money!

It's almost hard to believe that you can get this kind of print quality for such a lot price, but Canon has succeeded. This printer is very quiet, and it cranks out the pages almost as fast as I can turn around to pull them out.

Now we'll see if it lasts more than 3 years; after all this is a modern product. So far I absolutely love it and use it heavily for business.Read full review...
