Cheap price, but not cheap quality!

Everything works the way it's supposed to, so I'm not going to go into details, because chances are, if you bought it, you know what it's supposed to do. I haven't printed any photos yet, though.
<br>Since we know that much, lets go over the cons:
- You can only make 9 copies at a time
- Ink is expensive! There are ink refills online, but I have yet to try it.
- Color ink is only in 1 cartridge. I prefer separated color inks.

I would have rated this excellent, but the main thing bringing it down is that the ink is really expensive. My other all-in-one printer (Canon MP730) cost me $300, and I can buy a set of 12 ink cartridges for less than one black ink cartridge of this printer.

If you print a lot (and thus use a lot of ink), do a little more research about the price of ink for your printer before getting one. If you only print occasionally and need the convenience of a copier and scanner in your home, this is probably good for you.

Canon PIXMA MP 150 All-In-One InkJet Printer

I had this exact printer and it did a fine job of printing what I needed. It was very good with color and photographs, unusually good, better than my Epson or even my HP. However, as its use increased, it started running error messages fairly frequently and had to be turned off and on. It finally kicked the bucket with a message that said "waste ink absorber full." It is useless to have any message that requires a certified Canon repair facility, because no one will do any repairs for less than a new printer would cost. I checked all over the Internet and someone suggested a way of cleaning this, but I had no stamina for such a process. My boss was going to clean it but the last I saw of this printer, it was sitting a little cockeyed in his garage and the "waste ink" had leaked all over his garage floor. So there you go.Read full review...

Very Nice combo. Perfect for home use.

Very happy with the quality of the paper and photo print. Scanner works great. The softwares Easy-photo print and MP Navigator are very user friendly. Very happy with the amount of money I spend ($ 60.00) and quality/service I got. Catridges are not that terrible expensive. You can get around $ 20.00 / piece. Print very high quality photos and you can get up to 60 photos without getting any ink sign. Highly preferable for the home use.Read full review...

Great all-in-one

This printer is wonderful for the price. The quality of the photos are unbelievable for the price also. I copied a photo and couldn't tell which was which. It's not the fastest copier, but the quality is phenomenal. I also like that you have the lid that can accomodate about a 1 inch book and put it down on it like a much more expensive copier. This is perfect for student, small business or a home copier. I also like that the ink is so cheap - found on ebay for $9 (black or color) a cartridge - delivered. I love that! Simple to use and easy to connect to the computer. What more can you ask for?!!!Read full review...

Good Printer.

Pixma MP150 is a good printer for the money. Light weight and flat bed scanner are the futures I like best. Do not care mach for the way you have to load the paper in it. Chipped ink cartridges are a drawback if you like to refill or use refilled ink cartridges. Like with most Canon printers, print quality on photos is above average for the industry. If you are looking for a simple printer with a good print quality, this is the one to get.Read full review...

Product sucks. Will replace with quality soon.

Uses way to much ink. Quality of print jobs is poor, prints slow, & photo quality is poor too. When waste ink receptacle fills you may as well trash can this piece of junk because the interior of the ink carriage is splattered with sticky ink. Canon says you need to have it serviced. At that cost you may as well buy a new one. I'll use this cheap[o until my cartridges are used up then replace. Replacement cartridges are too costly. Buying this was one of my biggest mistakes.Read full review...

Great Printer

So far, it's been a great little printer. I haven't really pushed it much on photo printing, but so far the pictures I have printed are nice. My biggest thing is that the carts seem to run out too fast, but I lost track of how many pages I printed...so, don't quote me! It's very quiet and feeds very well. I will always buy Canon because of it's long lasting ability!!Read full review...

Canon PIXMA MP-150

This item is a multi-function printer/scanner/copier. Canon generally have good scannners and supply it with good software. The printing is fairly good as well, the ink is somewhat cheaper than with other manufacturers.
MP-150 is not the latest model, which means one can buy it new for less without compromizing the quality. Unlike earlier multi-function units 2-3 years ago, each function of this machine is just about as good as you will ever need, unless you are printing/scanning for a fashion magazine.

Great Price for Color Scanner/Printer/Copier

I've been using this unit for the past 2 months now and so far no problems, have used it for printing b/w documents and envelopes and also have printed 4x6 color photos with very good saturation and color accuracy. It's a very good printer, highly recommend it.Read full review...
