Its a little slow for printing just a word document, but it does and absolutly wonderful job of printing pictures. I guess the main reason I bought it was because my other printer quit working, and it was a good price for a picture printer. I dont print pictures that often, but I have began to print a few more since I got it. I figured if I was going to buy a printer to print resumes, and school work off, and spend the money, I just as well buy a photo printer too, so I did, and I am very satisfied. I found out my old printer wasnt working when I was trying to print a resume since I have just finished school was looking to make a big career step. Some pictures tend to turn out better than others though, and Im not sure why that is. Overall, I am pleased with the quality for the price. canon PIXMA IP6220D INK JET PRINTER

I like this printer for the quality of photo prints. I bought it because my research said that it was a good photo quality printer. The only thing i don't like about it is the limitation on black & white prints. I t is not any big thing though since i do have a larger printer for this.
The settings for photo printing seem to be ample and the photo quality seems to remain constant.

What a great product!

When I was looking for a photo printer to buy, I wanted something powerful, high quality, and affordable. And this printer is all three of those. It isn't Canon's best printer on the market right now, but it does rank up near the top. The print quality is simply amazing. I am a photography major at school so high quality prints are what I need most, and this printer sure does provide a very excellent print quality. The prints looked even better than the ones I printed at the school's computer lab on a top of the line Epson printer, which I was very impressed about.
At first, I had bought this printer, confusing it with another Canon, but I am quite happy with my mishap. For half the price, I received the same quality as the other printer, and who could complain about that? I would highly recommend this photo printer to anyone looking to buy a printer solely for the reason of printing their own photographs, but if you plan on printing documents often, I would suggest getting a different one, because the text printing quality is not the greatest.
Overall, I would say that this printer has been an excellent addition to my electronic setup and I would highly recommend it.Read full review...

PICK ME!

The reason I bought this one is that the screen is large and clear (saw it demonstrated at a store). Makes selecting the photographs much easier. The other reason is ease of use. My wife and daughter are not technical. Plugging in the media card directly into the printer allows them to "plug and print". It is also set up for their regular printing from the computer. The quality of the prints are exceptional and beat the previous printers we've used. I really like the color.

Only regret.. I should have bought two! I may have to hint for a christmas gift.Read full review...

Bought a new printer

I love this printer. I bought it cuz my old one died and I had a bunch of ink I hadn't used. This one is combatant with my old printer. I love this way better then I could even ask for. It didn't come with the cord to hook it up to my laptop but I'm smart enough to keep the old canon I had and still had the cord for it. I'm sure they aren't to hard to find even if I didn't have it But it works great. I print out a bunch of

I feel that Canon is about the best use of any printer for this type. It does not seem like the cheapest or is the most expensive kind. Pixma iP6220D-WOW!

I thought it was time I got with the times, so I went ahead and got myself a digital camera. Then I figured I'd get a photo printer. After reading reviews and pricing on ebay, it seemed the iP6220D was a might be a good choice. Boy, was I wowed! I'm not that computer savvy but set up and downloading software was real easy and I could not believe how good my first set of pictures were. I'm talking photo shop quality. This printer was offered as part of a camera and printer package, with cartridges and paper included and it seems alot of people bought the package just for the camera and are reselling the printers. I bought two of these puppies for $80 with cartridges and paper and could not be happier. It's little brother, the iP6210D, is really the same printer w/o the cool little LCD monitor. Canon Printer

I highly recommend this printer because of the quality of it prints are equal to or better then that available at the drop off phot shops. It is also very easy to use and photos can be edited easliy.

Installation Easy. Prints great photos. Dislike price of ink, cartridges aren't that large. But overall this is a very good printer, I really enjoy using it.
