Lots of Features

I will probably never use all of the features of this camera though I have previously used an EOS system which had fewer settings. The camera is light-weight but feels sturdy and the newer (it is relative) EF-S lenses do have a better feel than the older EF ones. It is a feature of this body that it accepts both EF and EF-S lenses, though sadly it does not support TTL functionality of the old speedlite EZ range of flash-guns. The fold-out touch sensitive screen makes function selection quite easy but leaning my way arround the functions will take time and effort. Having said that, it would have been useable straight out of the box had I relised in advance that ther is no no SD card supplied with the camera.Read full review...

My first DSLR camera

This is a great first DSLR camera, you can leave it in full auto and get brilliant results. If you want to use the manual modes there are a lot of buttons, menus and sub menus but they are quite easy to use - I would definitely recommend reading the manual first and follow the Instructions to try out the different settings. Once I'd mastered the settings and menus the camera really came into it's own with fantastic results in various light conditions. I love the touch screen it makes reviewing shots so easy with a swipe just as you would on a mobile. A lot of menu settings can also be adjusted via the touch screen. I've been really impressed with this camera and would certainly recommend it as a great introduction to DSLR photography with great features and at a reasonable priceRead full review...

More Than It Seems

This camera can be a little daunting, but persevere and you will be rewarded. It has far too many features to list but if you switch it on and set it to AUTO you will take good pictures. Flip up the flash and you can take quite good pictures indoors. But this machine is capable of so very much more than just that.
I can tell you how important it is to read the manuals, both of them! One comes with the camera and is a basic introduction to most if not all of the features. The other is available on line if you search for a Canon 750d Manual you should find it. The one in the box has about 160 pages plus about 50 more on Wi-Fi and other functions. The on line PDF has 412 pages will much more useful info, but you only need this for specialised info. I need it for precise details of the flash functions with a speedlight flash.

Lovely camera, great purchase!

Great piece of kit for a beginner, takes great pictures in auto modes for beginning. Canon has great apps for getting to grips with your camera and learning how to use it more professionally.

My best camera so far

I got it mainly for astro-photography, but it's so good I use it in preference to my Fuji film super zoom camera for everyday shots. It's not so handy, as you have to put the lens on to take a shot, but the image quality is spectacularly superior. It can fit onto my telescopes to give a mega zoom effect, using eyepiece projection, 100x or more, I have had it up to 500x on the Moon. You cannot do that with a fixed lens camera, even a high quality on like my Fuji film. I got a £50 cash back also, although others got £100 around Christmas time, so choose your buying time well. A very good camers.Read full review...

Well worth purchasing for a great price as a whole kit! One of the best cameras for the avid photographer, so many features to still discover.
