So much better than the new D5S with the leaky nozzles
This DeoxIt D5S in the original can, with the original nozzle, is excellent. I've been through 4 - 5 cans of it and it works great and the adjustable "LMH" nozzle works fine as well. So much better than the D5S available now with a funky nozzle that leaks and wastes 1/2 the can. I'm going to buy another one of these original cans of D5S, as I won't be buying any more with the "new and improved" nozzle.Read full review...

Old vs new DEOXIT D5
The version that I bought is the old/original version. It is a vastly better design compared to the “new version” because it allows you to adjust the strength of the spray from low-medium-high. This ensures that you always use the perfect amount without over-spraying (which could damage the product.)
Overall a great find since these original bottles are now discontinued!!

I used this product to clean the gears on my 1966 Corvette’s mechanical clock. All of these eventually stop running due to a build up of contaminants on the moving parts. The nozzle on the new cans is the stupidest thing I've ever seen. It's brilliantly designed to get the least amount of cleaner in/on the component, and the maximum amount of waste with over-spray everywhere else.

My 'go to' spray
The old DeOxIt with the straw is the best! The newer sprayer is problematic. Caig says they fixed the problem, but the last can I bought puked DeOxIt everywhere. Buy the old can like this!
