These dumbbells are comfortable to use because of the neoprene coating, which allows a firm grip and a little cushioning when using them to plank rows. The different colors for different weights ensures you won't grab a ten when you meant to grab an eight. I would warn buyers that the neoprene coating can be cut or split during shipping or unwrapping, if you use a blade to cut the packaging. I have two sets of this style of dumbbell, both with cuts suffered during shipping, but at least the edges haven't peeled back, nor has the cut gotten bigger with handling.Read full review...

Good value for weights

Weights are as described and pictured. They appear new. it's hard to find weights during the pandemic and really hard to find weights less than $2/pound. This 8 pound pair was a very reasonable value. They were approximately $4 over the $/2/pound mark but there was no shipping charge--and shipping weights can get expensive. Turnaround was quick. These weight are exactly as advertised. Really appreciate the soft surface grip. Much easier on the hand than knurled metal grip found on old style dumbbells. Though these are roughly 20% more costly then non-neoprene coated weights, the extra cost is justified -IMHO.Read full review...
