Great for outdoor applications.

I purchased these in order to replace some 6.5" speakers that were installed on the outside of an RV. Subjected to the elements, they had completely deteriorated. Not sure how long they'll last but the price made it a lot easier to make the decision to buy. I bought two pair, just in case. Does not fit standard speaker holes

The holes do not match up to any of the holes in my 2 different vehicles. These will not work as replacements for stock speakers as they do not fit the holes. The mount ring is larger than the normal speaker of this size.Read full review...

Good sound, Good looks. If you're on a budget, GET THEM!

READ THE BOTTOM LINE FIRST.
I bought these as a replacement for blown speakers on a 1996 dodge avenger es i bought. They fit, but only sort of. I did a very ghetto job to install them. The (i'm going to call it a) "speaker holster" that came stock on the car required little curves to come off of the circle of the speaker to hold it, so with a little bit of soldering and cutting it'll fit fine, that's why it has a 4 but i'm sure that was expected and i was just to ignorant to perceive that in advance.
They sound far better than I expected for the price which Is the only reason I came back to write a review. I am very pleased with them. They got to my house the day they said they would. Although the box was rather dented. (but that's UPS)
If you are on a budget or just want a cheap replacement for a cheap car, Get Them. DEFINITELY worth the minuscule price!

Good for the price

I bought these Chaos Exxtreme Speakers about a month ago and enjoyed how they sounded in my car. These inexpensive 3-way speakers sound great for the price and when set to give bass, do bump. The downside is that if you try to give them too much power the sound does get a little disoriented. The are perfect for a person who wants to add some sound to their ride but can't afford to spend too much.Read full review...

Boss 300w car speakers

Wow , these sound great . My '98 Nissan Pathfinders rear speakers were blown , so I ordered a set of these Boss 300w speakers to replace the Clarion factory installed pair that were blown due to age .
These arrived quickly , look great (although you can't see them once installed) were easy to install and sound fantastic .
They have great highs and lows and unbelievable bass .

Perfect for me

It is perfect for my 99 single cab s10. They bump very hard. I have seen many reviews saying that they lack bass it must be their radio. I am using a pioneer dhm-150 and it makes the speakers bump. They are very crisp in sound. I will definitely be buying some boss 4x6s for my dash. They showed up two days earlier than expected. Very happy with them. Spend $50 and get some Pioneers or Sony's. These are garbage.

I read some reviews on these and they were positive. Most were saying better than the factory speakers. For $25 they were worth a try. The sad truth is that you get what you pay for. My factory speakers blew these things away. In fact I was so disappointed I only put in one and left the other side stock. I couldn't take the one out because I had to use the old speaker frame as a bracket. I had one bad speaker in the car and I bought these to replace it. I still have one bad speaker.
