Small and Relatively Intuitive to Learn & Use

The BlackBerry Curve 9360 is working out well for me as a first smart phone. Previously I had a 2005 Nokia cell phone as mainly all I needed was a phone for, well, phone calls and then only when away from home and not busy doing something. I like how this phone runs off my home wi-fi and will use other WiFi networks to allow for doing email and surfing without cell phone charges. I am on a GoPhone plan with AT&T and this phone allows me to keep my costs down but do more than I could before. The camera with flash and video is good as well, or good enough for snap shots. I often don't have my regular camera with me and so having this cell phone can be useful for its camera function. the ability to use a media storage SD card is handy as well. the battery life seems kinda short, but it will work OK for a couple of days without many calls. A new battery may help, but I suspect the 1000mAh battery is a little light for this phone. If I was using it a lot I would look into a larger back for it with a battery about double its standard capacity. Inexpensive chargers are also available that I may consider packing with me which can be good for a number of charges. It isn't a touch screen, but it has a touch KEY, which is super tiny and awkward to work, but it isn't too hard to use as long as I concentrate and hold the phone steady. The compact size has its value but the same thing about 50% larger would be much easier to use -- something many others making cell phones have figured out by now.Read full review...

Good price but issues

I understand it was used. But it spent several days cycling through reboots. This makes the battery suspect. Won’t know unit new one arrives.

Great phone with limitations

Cons obviously is that it is outdated and no longer supported by Blackberry but I still use it as my second phone after I bought the new Blackberry Key2. It is still great for a palm size phone and email/text unit - not so much for the internet or maps.Read full review...

3G and AT&T

The BlackBerry turns on but AT&T like many carriers is phasing out 3G service. I could not activate calling services.

Appreciated purchase for my son

My 15 year old son uses it with pleasure. I feel it when ever I seem him using it. 'I enjoy using phone. It is now much easier to access my favourities!' he says.
