long battery life, lightweight, excellent keyboard

The phone is small and lightweight. The QWERTY keyboard is responsive and feels nice and the battery lasts long (can go a full day of use on a single charge). Downside - some of the menus are a bit confusing, but ultimately you figure them out and get used to it. Dialing a number is sort of a pain because you have to press and hold down the 'alt' key.Read full review...

great product

i really like the blackberry. im not on social media or all that stuff so i dont need my phone for much other than call text. I put some music on it from my Itunes. Hooks up to wifi and i can connect my bluetooth speaker to it. blackberry doesnt have much apps so i just saved bookmarks on my browser so i can check the baseball scores, tide chart, weather etc. battery life is pretty good no complaints. Only negative i can say is that the send button on the keypad is right below the backspace button, so sometimes i send a text message that im in the middle of fixing a typo. i dont usually use that send button its just there. anyways hope this helps. ALOHA!Read full review...

Great design but not worth the money

This phone is way overpriced. The touch screen is really easy to use and all the applications work well, but for some reason blackberry cannot get the battery life working properly. There's an easy lock button on the top of the phone (similar to an iPhone) and it makes locking the phone easy and quick. But trying to unlock the phone is a complete struggle. Most times its so slow turning back on it takes multiple tries to get the phone to wake up. It is very frustrating when you need to take a quick photo or write a quick message. Also if you use the phone for more than a few minutes you get a little time clock like it freezes for a few seconds to catch up with the work you're doing. If it wasn't for the keypad I would definitely not recommend this phone over an iPhone or other all-touch phones.Read full review...

Replaced an breaking BB

The BB I had was scrolling on it's own and shutting down at whim. This new one - for the price is perfect. Went to AT&T to replace the SIM card to get it to fully work. Unfortunately the bottom part (the plastic under the space bar where it would say AT&T or other carriers) is already lifting on the right edge. My older one did the same thing. It does not disrupt the usage, so I don't mind. I love the raised keypad on the BB, something which iphones don't have. Thank you. It was a great price.Read full review...

All I asked for and then some! Very happy with the purchase!

The phone was exactly how I expected it to be. Worked right out of the box. I had an old 9930 that I got the back plate from. Everything works perfect! Display is crystal clear. I am a happy camper coz Now i have the phone i had 9 years ago! I only use this for voice and text messaging for my business so this works phenomenally! The battery life is great, tested it out on stand by for a whole 12 hours shift and it only broke a half bar of the battery icon. I have an extra battery so non worries there. All in all the phone is all I am looking and asking for just for voice and messaging. I am a happy camper!Read full review...

Bold 9900

A great cell phone. I don't care about games or apps. This is a smallish phone; feels great in your hand. Good grip. Has outstanding signal reception. Awesome call quality. Speakerphone quality is great on both ends. Has a nice messaging app. I've used previous Blackberry models and been disappointed but I really like this one! This is a serious smart phone also, but the screen size will turn many off. I'm looking for a communication device, and this is a great one!Read full review...

This is a nice phone for what its designed to do.

If you are a person who likes just classic features like texting, sending pictures, calenders, and wifi, this phone you will like. Its predominantly used for business and that's all its capable of doing. It doesn't even compete with phones like android and apples but that's because those phones are for entertainment primarily. I just wanted a phone that had a querty keyboard and could do some of the more advanced features like a hot spot, and calender, etc. So if you are looking for a phone with basic features thats easy to navigate, this phone will work just fine for you.Read full review...

Great phone, there are some minor issues with capacity, memory and power

This handset works OK...however there is only 6GB instead of 8GB which was said to be available on the built-in phone memory..the phone reboots sometimes whilst touching the track pad..in additional the capacity of the application storage varies even when no application is being downloaded..the touch screen doesn't always respond in time after you tap it with your finger..and sometimes the application opens before the on-screen menuRead full review...

at&t blackberry bold cell phone

I got this phone in good condition, and it has not let me down since I purchased it.
I am familiar with the blackberry, and most of its functions, and I like it better than
most smart phones. the battery life is good, and holds a respectable charge for a
good amount of time, when not in use. sure there are some little nicks and
scratches here and there, but over all the phone was good purchase for me. if you
have had it with the old-clamshell-grampa-type cell phones out there that don't do
very much, and you want to upgrade to a better, user-capable phone that won't eat
your wallet for lunch...then this one's for you.
pros: reasonable size/shape, decent battery life, easy to use, and decent functionality,
phone charger uses the standard charger plug-in.
cons: the qwerty keyboard is a bit smallish, for fat fingers like mine, not all functions
are available (depending on network and carrier, no charger included (availability is
not really an issue, no phone case was included for some users this may be an issue.
that's it, I hope this helps.
and as always, semper fi, carry on!!

History well say this was a great, great Blackberry

While the battery life isn't the best, you can have a small spare battery in your front pocket and pop it in and be rocking again in two minutes with a full charge.

Great phone still today for BBM, Text, Email and if you have an Enterprise account, calendar/memopad and tasks.Read full review...
