Excellent Epic Movie - One of the Best Movies Made of All-Time

Ben-Hur is probably one of the best movies ever made!!!! This is an epic film that NO film has ever achieved. I believe the 10 Commandments is as a close second...also staring Heston a few years earlier in1956 ..and certainly well worth watching.

In more modern-day movies of the twenty-first century......the movie."Cabrini" will come in as a very close second to Ben-Hur. "Cabrini" is an excellent movie as well....beautifully filmed and deeply inspirational (Just like Ben-Hur).

Ben-Hur won a record ELEVEN Academy Awards, including Best Picture, Best Director (Wyler), Best Actor in a Leading Role (Heston), Best Actor in a Supporting Role (Griffith), and Best Cinematography - Color (Surtees). It also won Golden Globe Awards for Best Motion Picture - Drama, Best Director, and Best Supporting Actor - Motion Picture for Stephen Boyd.

I HIGHLY recommend this movie. The Blu-ray edition has great quality....and brings this movie to life.
You will be captivated and deeply moved...most likely crying at the end! WATCH THIS MOVIE!

Ben Hur is an epic movie the likes of which will never be seen again. Won ELEVEN Oscars in 1959. Fabulous! Would be mostly CGI if done today.

It's an all-time great movie with the best chariot race ever filmed.
Not as funny as "Hail Caesar", but likely was the model.
