A great deal for my first spotter

I'm an ardent shooter and love spending my free time when at all possible out on the range. What I don't like is having to walk out to my targets over and over to inspect where my rounds strike. Well, I finally bought this spotting scope(at a great price I might add!) and am glad that I did. Observing .22 strikes against a non-reactive black target at 25 yards with the naked eye is pretty difficult but with this Barska it's very simple. Set the eyepiece to it's lowest setting and fine tune the focus knob forward of the eyepiece. I've also utilized this for 100 yard targets and had no problems there either. This unit comes with a small tripod, bag, lens wipe, instructions and a cover for the eyepiece that screws down. I'm a little puzzled that it didn't have a cover for the lens, but it is what it is and if you care for it correctly it should last for some time. It's a well built and sturdy unit. I've yet to try this at greater distances; 200-300yds, but believe coupled with reactive targets this will do just fine. These usually go for around $100, but like I said, these can be had for way less here on eBay. Good luck!Read full review...
