This was the first Elin Hilderbrand book I read...just randomly picked it up one day and have since fallen in love with her style. With the setting in Nantucket and the way she uses the island almost as a character, I just want to pack and bag and head north. I love the descriptive details, but yet don't get bogged down in every shell found on land.

The characters in the book were believable and visible in my mind's eye. I just wanted to be there in their lives. A great read, whether you are on a beach yourself or just waiting at the local car wash.Read full review...

I just discovered this author and really enjoy reading her books. The story lines and people could very well be true to life . After reading one of her books I would like to read all of her novels. DRAMA, DRAMA oh did I say DRAMA??

We just read this book on our book club, and I honestly could barely finish it. The book is nothing but drama and a bunch of selfish people who only knows how to whine and complaine. The language used in this book is awful. If you want to read this book, save your money and try to get it from a library or something. Not worth buying it!!Read full review...
