If you have transmission codes this is what you need .

First let me start by saying I don't buy used parts often . I was told that the BMW trans modules would need to be reprogrammed to my car by some people and then others said it didn't need to be . I'm not sure about all of them but my 2000 323ci didn't need to be reprogrammed .My service engine soon light has been on for a couple of months and i tried everything and could not find any codes except for ABOUT 16 trans codes that I was not able to erase . i saw a video online telling me that it was most likely the trans control module so i bought this one on EBAY and was very worried that my car would not shift properly after install or that i would have to take the car to the dealer and have it reprogrammed . None of that was true , it takes about 10 minutes to change the part and now the light is off and the car shifts fine with no problems .Read full review
