Good solenoid
Just put the part in and it works fine. Hopefully time will tell. Would have gave it 5 stars but didn’t like the cork gasket that comes with kit they are known to leak.

It worked, but
I installed this new shift solenoid because of a shifting problem I was having. When I removed the valve body it was obvious what the problem was and I fixed that, but I decided that I would install this supposedly upgrade. It worked, but shifting was at times shaky and shuddery. After about a month of this I decided to install the original shift solenoid. This solved the shaky shifting I was having. Problem solved
My wife's 2007 ram 1500 was having problems pulling out in 2nd gear and rough shifting into reverse. Just leave screw on filter on transmission until you have swapped out solenoid and reinstalled valve body. I made the mistake of pulling filter off and over half the torque converter fluid drained out. Took 10 quarts to fill back up.Read full review...
