Save yourself some $$$

If you can partially dismount a tire, these will save you some serious money. My dealer wanted $185 to diagnose my TPMS warning light, (which they'd apply to eventually repairing the problem.) But my car is 8 years old, so I was pretty sure it was the sensors.
They charge over $800 including labor to replace them and reprogram the computer.
With these, you simply clone the old sensor codes into the new ones, and no reprogramming of the car is needed. It this KS the old sensors just started working.
Note: you do need a device which can program these. The Autel Maxi -TPMS Pad will do this for $50.
It reads the code off of the old sensor, and programs a new one to the same code.
If your old sensor is too damaged or the battery is totally dead, this process will not work.
But in my case, though 2 were damaged by the tire installation a year or so ago (wish I'd had them replaced then...) the pad could still read the codes, and I was able to clone the new ones. Problem solved!
For about $130 for 4 sensors and $50 for the programmer pad, I'm back on the road and ready to do the same thing for my wife's 11 year old Lexus when hers die. (The pad is compatible with almost all cars, domestic US and foreign, which use the 315 MHz frequency.)
Don't wait until your sensors die completely. Watch the YouTube videos on how to partially dismount your tire, and do it.
It was a long day, since I had to Jerry-rig a dismounting setup, but it worked, and I saved a ton of money.

Flaky sensor

Got the sensor installed in the tire and the vehicle was reading the pressure and temperature okay, but after driving a little ways and hitting a bump, the sensor went dead.

Company making these is very reputable and stands behind thier product. Very good factory replacement.

These sensors read very precicely as my vehicle gives exact tire pressure for each tire on the dash. Just ordered another set of four for my wife's car. She had one of the old bolt in sensores blow out of the rim on the highway. Quite easy to instal, just need to have a tire shop set them up to your vehicle. They work on nearly any vehicle sold in thr USA.Read full review...

Best TPMS ever!

Multiple advantages...
Dual Frequency, Programmable, Small/Light.

Used these to fix my friends SRX that had 4 dead sensors.
I cloned from OBD Port (using TS508) and the new sensors were immediately recognized upon installation.
Although, I can often find Take/Off OEM Sensors for 1/2 the price, these are so much more versatile.

Easy to use. Works perfectly with 2006 Ford 6.0-liter diesel.

This reader worked perfectly with a 2006 Ford F-350 6.0-liter diesel. The brief instructions on the package were correct, and it was easy to follow the on-screen instructions. The reason for the check engine light was clear and obviously correct (I had just allowed the batteries to run low), and it was easy to turn off the check engine light.Read full review...

One sensor to fix them all.

Works really well. Great quality and respected brand. You do need a programming tool but the savings from one set of sensors can pay for that, and then you have the ability to replace TPMS sensors on just about any car.Read full review...

Great Little Unit

It is pretty much plug and play. It comes to life as soon as you connect it to your vehicle with a nice back-lit screen which is very clear and easy to see. Not like some of those fuzzy LED screens that are hard to see unless you are looking straight at the screen. Menu is basic and easy to follow. Also comes with a cap to protect the connection pins when not in use. Now you can diagnose your own check engine codes without a trip to the dealer or parts store. Note: Due to Covid many parts stores no longer offer that complimentary service. Easy to re-set your check engine light once you have diagnosed the problem. Great value. Sorry I did not buy one of these years ago. Read full review...
