Great bundle, but the filter, heater and lights need more consideration
The overall value of this combination is good, however, the pump was very loud. I actually had to reinstall my old pump which was much quieter. Also, the pipe for the filter was only 6" long, but the tank is very tall, so no pull from lower in the tank for adequate filtering. Also, the LED lights are extremely bright. You could land a plane with these lights. There are 15 LED lights in the hood, and covering all but 4 with heavy blank tape still makes the cool white light very bright and artificial in a large room. I am curious how my live plants will respond. My fish do not like the LED option. Not sure about the heater -- you can only plug it in, no settings, so no idea if it can be adjusted.
