Great Device!

I love this iPod!! I bought this 1st generation instead of a newer one because it was the cheapest and I just wanted something i could search the actual internet with over wifi. It turned out to be the coolest piece of technology I have ever seen, and I don't really care that it doesn't have a built-in speaker among other new features in other iTouches. This can be upgraded to firmware 3.1.3 and have lots of apps and everything. This is exactly what I need until the iPhone 5 comes out.Read full review...

Broken

I purchased this iTouch completely aware that it was not functioning. I plug it into iTunes to see what does work on it and I get error 1611. Over all, this thing came in amazing cosmetic condition! I just cant really use it, again I knew this going into the purchase, now I just need to figure out how to fix one of theses for cheap! So if anyone has any suggestions please send me a message! I love it

8gb 1st generation ipod touch

I bought an Ipod touch and i love it. The apps that are available are awesome and the internet works great with wifi. I dont like the fact that the first generation ipod does not have built in speakers but you can buy a i home accessory or some type of speaker if needed. I decided to buy this ipod because i needed some type of mp3 or ipod and the ipod touches are long lasting and very reliable. :)Read full review...

it's good but not the best

it's nice but has low battery life. the features on this thing are better then my mac. the design is light weight and slim. The overall value is probably $50

More then I was expecting

bought this for my 9 year old as a trial Ipod before i buy her a expensive one. The Ipod was n great condition and now hubby wants one. Works and operates great thanks so much!

Great little iPod Touch! I bought one of these second-hand, and I'm impressed at what you can do with these 8GB of space. While it doesn't have all the bells & whistles of the later models, you can't beat the price of these while everyone else is upgrading! I highly recommend this to anyone who has had an older classic or mini iPod and wants to upgrade without breaking the bank. Great iPod!

I really like the old iPod touch everything works on it,but the battery seems a little weak but not a dealbreaker. I would recommend this iPod to anyone that wants to use it for music or just to say that you have the first iPod touch!Read full review...

Do not purchase vintage devices unless you are a hardcore collector.

Item was brand new. It worked fine at first, but two days later it started shutting down. It did not pick up internet wireless signals any more. It failed. Item is vintage and software is outdated. Apple support was not able to restore device to original factory settings. There is no current software available for iPod touch first generation. Apple advised me that iPod touches usually last approximately 6 years or so. It is recommended to upgrade devices and software as well.Read full review...
