It’s ok I guess

Have to keep it plugged in for it to work longer than a few min. Think it needs a new battery. But I’m not skilled enough to do that. Had to buy another one.

I like it, I like the size. My teenagers gonna try n work on it. Lol. But I don’t like that I have to keep it plugged in. I’d bought it to carry around in my pocket while I do house work….Read full review...

Ask that they remove all the music from the nano first

This came with over 600 awful songs on it. You can't removed the songs from the player directly so you have to load it onto your iTunes and then delete them and it is a pain in the "*@!" I have not actually accomplished this yet. Also, the charger cord didn't fit into the bottom of the nano properly but I had my my own charge cord so I have no problem.A pair of ear buds was included too, which I don't need or want. I would have much preferred just getting a nano that was empty of music.Read full review...

The ipod is working fine however sometimes the system fails

Good iPod for the price. The battery life is normal. The sound quality is good. The headphones work good. But sometimes the system fails and it has no reaction. I had to wait for the battery to die so that the ipod turned off. But it happens rarely so it’s okayRead full review...

Sure Beats a Transistor Radio

I like playing the music I own. Playlists from radio stations are simply pathetic! I like the small size...fits in my shirt pocket or on my arm holder...sure makes grocery shopping a whole new experience. Its also great if you just can't take any more verbals from the woman in your life either. The controls aren't as responsive as I would like though. It doesn't always change the song when pushed and the volume control could be a little more responsive on the first push also. They both work fine but at time one has to give it a second or third effort. Nice screen on the Nano for its size. Battery life holds pretty well also...no issues so far. Just need to remember to keep it charged after using it. All in all, this is a terrific piece of equipment and got it for a great price after getting outbid 5 times. A very popular product and for good reason.Read full review...

EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW BEFORE YOU BUY THE NANO

Ipod nano is the best thing to happen to happen to digital music since the iPod itself. I bought this in hopes to have the next cool thing out there, ( i had a mini before and sold it to buy a nano because i didn't have 1000 songs and i wanted to have pictures)

When i first got it it was GREAT, i plugged it in and all the sudden within about ten minutes it was updated with the latest software and it had all my music and pictures on it. Then things went bad.

I was going on a trip that day and when i was back i noticed my iPod nano was scratched. it had not been abused, or even near something that could have scratched it. Go to any store with one on display and you'll see that pretty much whenever you touch it it scratches. YOU MUST BUY A SKIN AND SCREEN PROTECTORS OR IT WILL BE SCRATCHED UP LIKE AN OLD RECORD!

Because the screen is just under the plastic that covers the front of the nano the whole screen is very vulnerable to scartches and smudges which are very hard to get off on this certain plastic.

Positives:

small and sleek

holds all the music most people need

is great if you want pictures but not video

in my opinion sound quality is pretty good.

Negatives:

More Fragile Than a glass ornament

screen is too small for pictures

apple's customer support is really bad

no wall charger, a big problem for those of us that can't get to our usb ports easily on our cpu.

if you are looking for a great toy buy a psp. if you are looking for a mp3 player, try something else. if you must have this, get a knight's armour!

Good not great

bought this Ipod, because i really needed something to do while working out and when just bored. I have found this Ipod to be very good, but there are some things i don't like.
1. The clickwheel is very loud, and easy to get dirty.

2. The screen is small, and very hard to clean, while collecting dust VERY
easily.

3. Apple says battery life is 24 hours. I don't know which battery they used, but not the one used in mine. The battery lasts between 10-13 hours. Still, this is an improvement over the last generation. My daughter has one, and her battery lasts 6-8 hours only. Also, cases and stuff is very expensive. I would definately reccomend this ipod, as it holds enough songs for most people (500), and it is only $149 dollars. Also, i would NOT buy it off ebay. I bought an Ipod Shuffle last year, and it turns out, it was stolen.
I really like that the screen is very bright, and how small it is, yet i never have a hard time finding it, like i thought i would.
I would recomend this ipod definately

Love my Ipod Shuffle 2nd Generation with Bundle

Many years ago my boyfriend bought me this shuffle, and it was lost at the gym. I decided to get another and bought this bundle from Ebay. At first I didn't know what the large black thing was, but one of my co-workers explained it was a speaker, and could also be used for my Iphone6 which is great because I had my phone line from Comcast disconnected along with their internet and overpriced cable, and can also use this to replace my hands-free phone! So many gifts all in one, and holding 124 songs is more than I need for my workouts, so I'm a very happy customer! Btw, this was my first purchase from Ebay, and it couldn't have been easier. Thank you whoever sold it to me:)Read full review...

Should I buy a Used Ipod Nano?

Used electronics typically give me the "fantods", but the ipod 2nd generation I purchased came with a 30 day warranty...made me feel better...and was refurburished. So, I felt confident in the seller.

The equipment itself is great if you are not a CD type person. Digital downloads have fabulous sound quality that surpassed my expectations. The recording ability is also a plus when I've got a new drummer and guitar/singer in the home. They can play outside and listen to their sound quality.

The slim design makes the unit easily compatible with an "on the go" lifestyle. However, I do suggest getting an optional armband so you don't have to hold it and walk...something I find dangerous as an over-protective mom.

The units hold their re-sale value. If I decide to sell the unit, I can and reasonably expect to recover the largest part of my purchase price. The units are popular, durable, and produce high quality sound.

One item of note: I DO NOT ALLOW the Ipods to go to school! Obviously, there is the rule: no electronics in school...but the bus is rampant with cell phones abuzz, ear buds blaring, and the chatter of children. The ipods are valuable and can create temptations and distractions that need to be considered when kids are involved....

Adults! Keep the pods away from the kids or do as I did: surrender and get them their own! I hope this is helpful! Melba

Ipod Nano 2nd Generation MP3 Player

For the money, it is great. It is easy to use. Apple Ipod, kept their standard controls, so if you have used any Ipod, you can use this one. No need to read instructions. It is has higher volume capability than other brands of ipods. Easy to store and manipulate songs.

The only downside....or limitations, and I really can't complain because of the really low price I grabbed this for: this iPod has no music video capabilities.

But for a basic music, info, picture MP3 that is easy to use, holds a bunch of songs, doesn't have to be "babied" (you can bang this thing around), and no need to read the manual...the Ipod Nano 2nd Generation gets a A++++++++++++.
