Budget ipad

Okay if you want to just browse the web and do emails etc. But tends to lag on most games and if you have too many applications running at one time. If you can get one for under £100 then I think it's worth it. Other than that, I'd stick with the full sized iPad or maybe the 2nd gen mini is more powerful?Read full review...

I bought this iPad Mini as a Christmas present for my Mother. She wanted an iPad to call her own after sharing with my Father for some time. She loves it. It's lightweight and incredibly portable. The battery life lasts a day easily at heavy usage, so for her it lasts nearly a week. She's able to take it places in her handbag and connect to Wi-Fi without issue. I wish all the iPads had the Cellular function built in as that would be handy for her usage, but with so much Wi-Fi around these days, it's not a huge problem. The iPad is far better than it's rivals in my opinion as it's screen size is perfect, and it compliments it's weight. It's easy to use - very intuitive. Nice & compact but a bit slow when responding sometimes.

Good iPad, nice size & easy to hold. Only down side is it's a bit slow sometimes when responding and can't download some apps due to it being only a 1st generation. Otherwise pleased with it.

Ideal size of Ipad for On The Go

I purchased this I pad as I needed something that would be easy for transporting on the go and this has met all expectations, so much so that I seem to be using this more than my big laptop around the home. Bit of disappointment

Bought this iPad mini so I could use it to have on in the background whilst working from home but the only app I can download is Netflix. No other app works as you have fo have iO12 or later but this iPad mini isn’t compatible with anything over iOs7. On it's way out

When I bought this, it was described as 'like new'. Although, the iPad itself isn't in too bad of a physical condition besides scratches and chips, it is terrible to use. When there are more than 2 apps running at the same time, it overloads and freezes. I have spent more time waiting for this iPad to unfreeze than I have spent on it. The jack to insert your headphones is damaged and so my music is interrupted by static every few minutes. The home button is damaged so you have to press it down hard for it to register. For some reason, videos on here will not play unless you skip to the end then rewind to the start and will not play at all if I am trying to mirror my iPad onto my TV through Apple TV. It takes several minutes to load apps and is in general not good for use by a teenager, like myself who would use it often. I will probably use it for another month and then buy another one. This iPad was in great condition considering how much we paid, I had visited several trade in stores and the price was double the amount for what I could only say was a lesser quality product, ie bumps and scratches.
