I use it for both Mac and Windows operating systems, four cores i7, 16GB RAM, light and portable.

The only reason I gave it four stars is that when it is on a heavy use, it gets really hot and the fan is loud. I can stand an inch thickness and half a pound heavier total of five pounds or less for more room for the larger heat sink that way the CPU, RAM, GPU can breath easier and the performance will be much more improve. When you are using a heavy load like video encoding or 4k encoding, you need to plug it to an AC outlet to give the CPU, GPU a full juice of energy. Thinness is good for Macbook AIR that does need much performance, Macbook Pro does. Mac OS is using less system resource than Windows, you will see when Windows is running on this machine and compare both. Four cores i7, 16GB of RAM, only 2GB of Video memory (4GB should be minimum, 6GB is recommended for supporting dual 4K displays). The 4x PCIe SSD drive performance is OK, it is not really twice the performance in real use vs the pro version of regular SSD drives as advertised but you paid premium for it. Read full review...

It's Perfect!

I ordered a 15" macbook pro (mid 2015 model) and had I not bought it myself, I would have assumed I had just bought it from Apple brand new. The laptop came in the original box in excellent condition and everything was already installed and ready to go. All I had to do was tweak a few preferences and transfer my data from my old laptop. Easy!
I'm very happy with this computer so far and have no complaints or regrets.
Cheers!

Possibly the last great MacBook Pro...

Replaced a similarly specced early 2011 MB Pro (that was still going strong, but starting to show its age) with this one when the 2016 MBP was announced (I hate dongles and don't need an emoji bar). The main improvements for me were the better GPU, the lighter weight, and the gorgeous retina screen. For an i7, 16GB of RAM, a 512GB SSD, and a 2GB dedicated GPU the $1,800 I got it for was an absolute steal. Absolutely recommend. The 2016, not so much...Read full review...

As good as one I have since 2015

I have a 13in MacBook pro retina early 2015 bought new in 2015 going excellent that made to look for 2015 15in with dedicated graphic card. I had dropped idea to purchase full spec 15in back in 2015 for that exorbitant price and went for new 13. Received an item that can be judged as top notch grade B condition for an advertisement of grade C. I handle my 13in with care, this one also was of similar handled condition, except that there was a dent at HDMI port. All other aspects looked similar to my own 13in so happy to get one that clean. Opened, powered on right away, no problems with booting, ran set up, it had come with El Capitano installed, just downloaded and installed Latest Mojave, no problem seen. Looking forward to load Windows 10 (more Linux OSs) on VM like I did on my 13in. May never go for a Windows laptop as Mac works best of many OSs.Read full review...

Nice MacBook Pro, as described in listing.

Very nice computer, as described. I believe we got a "B Rated" one (small cosmetic wear and tear). It looks and feels like a brand new computer to me. It came packaged very well. Highly recommended!!Read full review...

Great Macbook

This Mid 2015 Macbook Pro is a great upgrade from my old Mid 2009 model.
It came preinstalled with a clean OSX Sierra. The only "weird" thing was that the 500GB SSD drive was not partitioned to the full 500GB, but only 420GB or so. So had to re-partition and reinstall OSX. Still 5 stars though.Read full review...

Powerful value

While newer models may have a touch more power, this model still has plenty of oomph at a greatly reduced $cost. It may not have the latest in touch bar and USB C ports, but it's got plenty of the older ports for connecting all those legacy devices still laying around. I'm very happy with it.Read full review...

So Far So Good

This MacBook is very nice. It's fast, the display is nice as well. I like the force touch track pad.
the only negative thing so far is the mag safe connection is kind of off a bit. I have to make sure the cord sits just right every time I move the computer. I don't know if that's a thing with this model or just something that happened when the computer was refurbished. Other than that, so far so good.
I've only had it a couple of weeks, I guess we'll see how long it runs this nice..

Another win for a used MBP!

Purchased this one to replace a 2012 that had the faulty GPU chip. If you have an older MBP, this is a definitely a recommended upgrade! Lighter, thinner (no DVD drive), cooler (all solid state), and faster! Just what you ask of the computer you know and love.

First Mac

I ordered this Mac Book, and it being my first ever macbook I am hooked! As a programmer, gamer and computer nerd I often take a strong stance on which laptop to buy. Knowing that MacBook have been highly recommended I purchased one and wow I am blown away not just by it's power and sharpness but by the value I got it from my buyer. I highly recommend.
