Great Replacement Part

This muffler/pipe assembly will line up perfect even if you aren't replacing the rear muffler. Unlike the Walker replacement, Walker puts an offset in theirs, forcing you to buy their rear replacement muffler also.

But with this muffler/pipe assembly, you will have no problem if you need to replace the rear muffler at a later date.

Muffler fit

Used a lisle pipe expander on the outlet pipe. Cut off old pipe and put new one on. Best to take old factory clamp off and use a new 2 1/4” on inlet and 2 1/2” on the expanded outlet. Not a big job with the right tools. Could also use a 2 1/2” to 2 1/2” exhaust pipe coupler on the outlet pipe if you don’t have an expander.Read full review...

New muffler

Item arrived 2 full business days early. Was not in box or wrapped so there were a couple small dents in ends of pipes and one on muffler body, but it literally went across country so understandable and had no effect on anything other than cosmetics, but who is looking under there anyway? Good deal. Needed 2 clamps for install.Read full review...

Economical

The muffler was a cheaper way to go if you are able to install it yourself. We had to get a coupler and 3 clamps to finish the installation. Savings added up to about $100.00. Would recommend it to anyone as long as you have the tools and know how.Read full review...

Good quality easy fix.

Perfect fit. The inlet side of the resonator fit perfectly into the pipe from the converter. The rear connection was a butt connection.Required two of the 2 1/2 inch sleeve clamps.

Saved a lot of money by not having to replace the whole muffler

Common problem with Chevy equinox exhaust resonator rusting out. By using this item it avoided replacement of the muffler system. Saved a lot of money.

Equinox resonator

Good quality product but it’s not a direct bolt in item you will have to cut and weld the pipe at the rear due to the factory exhaust doesn’t have a slip joint there but once installed it works great

Great product!

Great fit, just needed a sleeve to fit the rear end. A little smaller than the original, but worked fine.
