My 2016 GMC Denali Amp Research steps were working intermittently then one day just stopped working. I checked the controller and it’s was melted on top. This replacement controller was plug and play! No wiring to mess with just unplug from old controller and plug into new controller, 2 zip ties (provided) and my steps work like new. I also sprayed all my hinge points on my steps with WD40 and that made my steps work like new. Fast delivery and 5 minute install!Read full review

It works
Hard to realistically rate an electronics part that I just got so only 3 stars. It fixed the problem of my step not deploying but how long will it last is the question. The original controller only lasted 3 years which in my opinion isn't very good.

Module no good out of thre box
Bought it as a replacement module because the passenger side quit working with the original module. When I installed the new module, neither side worked. I put the original back in and the drivers side worked again but the passenger side was still inoperative.Read full review
