A good book that tells the truth that the media won't

The book was interesting. I enjoyed it. It told the truth about our effectiveness in Irac that the main stream meadia is supressing. The troops deserve much more recognition than they have gotten from the media. All the media reports focus on the negitive parts of the war while Chris focuses on how much is accomplished by the troops and the exellent job they did. Well done Chris and all those who served in Irac. Another book that tells how much differance weve made in Irac is by Jole Rosenburg called Inside The Revolution. Great book! Couldnt put it down when I started to read it!

American Sniper is one of the best books I have ever read. It is full of first hand accounts, although watered down at times, that really bring war into perspective. To think one man was so dedicated to his contry, that at times was not dedicated to him, in astonishing. The book has a great balance of war and at home personal experineces that really allow you to "get to know" him better. I highly reccomend this book it's very hard to put down once you start to read it. Awesome Novel

It was a great book, it was more in-depth and emotional than the movie could ever portray. He is a true American Hero, that placed what most - if not all - soldiers do, protect the men /women that are to the left and right of them! It is what it's all about being able to trust one another, cover one another, and if you have to save one another. That is not just a SEAL that should be all soldiers and for the most part it is. Whoever called him a coward because he was a sniper, well just put it this way, they are trained to protect and for one things that is for sure - Chris Kyle honored ever man and women on that battlefield and in the US Armed Forces by being the best soldier that he could be not just as a sniper for the Seals but also getting down out and dirty just like the Marines he went door to door with even after he was told not to! That's not a coward, that's a man fighting and protecting his team, friends, and other forces he worked with.
