Works perfect. Fun to shoot. Saves lots of money!

Works just like mag that came with conversion kit. Love this 22lr conversion. Has saved me a ton of money, is fun to shoot, and has been an excellent training aid for new students!
Use CCI mini-mags for best results in the 22lr conversion. Vary mixed results with other ammo types.Read full review...

Very Cheap

The mags don't really function very well at all even with a variety of ammunition. I was able to get maybe 3 consecutive shots off before the gun jammed with them. They work great if you are just using them to do pistol malfunction drills but for actual range use they are not very reliable at all. That said, they came fast and we're very well packaged.Read full review...

.22 conversion kit for Glock Model 22

Amazing how well it works! Much less expensive using .22 caliber ammo. Cost is around .04 cents compared with about 22 cents per round. I love it. The 3 additional magazines work great also.

The only choice - but good quality nevertheless.

Great magazines, except that is does not have an easy load assist feature. Not much of a choice out there - I think the Advantage mags are the only ones for the Advantage conversion. I built my own easy-load help from a piece of 1/8" key stock. There is a little 1/8" square opening that allows you to push the follower down.Read full review...

Thanks Advantage Arms

I have had great success with the Advantage Arms product. I use my 17/22 conversion weekly at the local range. I like to perform mag drills with extra mags. 3 to 6 rounds per mag. Yes there are malfunctions and that is great for training. Will you surrender when your forearm malfunctions or will you fix it and re engage? My AA kit likes to run sloppy including rails and lockup on Barrel. Thanks Advantages Arms. I would buy this product again. Read full review...

Darn near perfect

Mags load easily (utilizing a compression loader) and fit and lock in the gun perfectly. No magazine caused feeding or extraction issues, These mags lock the slide open on last round every time, and drop free of the gun by depressing mag release, no support hand assistance needed.

My only criticism, the lack of any load assist feature. They need to design a thumb assist loading button or slot to help compress the magazine spring as you load additional rounds so you don't need to carry around that plastic sleeve.

Quite satisfactory, but....

Being they are Advantage Arms branded magazines I expected identical performance (fit) as the one magazine that came with their .22 conversion kit. (which dropped in with no effort and locked in under the mag catch with a sharp click as it should)

These mags came in, what looked like, sealed factory bags but each one required some minor sanding of the alignment protrusions on the rear of the mag to get them to slide into the magazine well without having to slam them in with the palm of your hand. They were hard going in and had to be pulled out by hand as they would not drop free when empty.

Ammo loaded fine, they fed the rounds fine out of the package. And after a little sanding, they slid in fine, and dropped free fine when empty. All good.

The attached pics show the protrusions that needed "massaging" before the mags would fit properly into the mag well.

Overall they are quite satisfactory, just odd that they did not fit like the one that came in the conversion kit.

Ok after some work

Lots of jams and failures to feed.
At one point, it ran a full auto due to the magazine rubbing on the trigger bar preventing the trigger from resetting. I had to shave a little material off the magazine where the trigger reset is at to make clearance.
Once I did that, it worked pretty well.
You must load the magazine properly to avoid jams as well.
Make sure that the rims are staggered properly from bottom to top.
If a rim on the cartridge you are loading goes past the one below it, you will get a stovepipe jam.

Solid magazine

These magazines are sturdy, strong and light. Ran 150 rounds through each of them and had little to no feeding issues. Of those that I did have I'm not sure if was operator error, the conversion slide, or the magazines themselves.
If you have the conversion kit already make sure you have plenty of these magazines. You will run through them quickly and spend as much time loading them as you will shooting from them.

Nice mag, but not for tac-sol conversion

I have a tac sol 22LR conversion, I ordered this mag because it's cheaper and to see if it would work, it did but with multiple malfunctions, round would hit front of feed ramp.If you own the adv arms conversion I'm sure it would be fine. What I like about tac sol mag is the loading slide lever the adv arm you need a loader or push with your thumb. Other than that seems t ok be very good quality.Read full review...
