Was dead on arrival. Was not packaged properly either and when I opened it 12 pins were bent flat ( which is bad, but you can correct this). So after correcting the pins I put it in my board and of course it was dead. I also tested a second board and both showed it to be dead.Read full review...

Be Careful

If you have a motherboard with a 400 fsb then you can easily overclock this chip to a 3200. If not, then just go with the chip that your mo bo will automatically recognize. Never did return because I got it for a good price so ..........Read full review...

best amd athlon xp series processor ever made.

factory unlocked so when you have your motherboard set to 400mhz fsb it will read as an amd 3200+xp. though it says on the chip that it is an amd athlon 2500+xp.

defective cpu

bent pins, fried two mobos-confirmed by a computer tech--cost me $60 in damaged motherboard. Not cool.
