AMD A8-7600 3.1GHz Quad-Core (AD7600YBJABOX) Processor

Nice CPU

This 4-core CPU performs very well, coupled to a ASUS A55BM-Plus motherboard. It is very stable. Comparatively, based on image and video resizing tests, performance seems to be a little bit lower than a core i5 3rd gen. of the same speed but nothing noticeable in everyday use. Integrated graphics runs well, seems powerful enough but is not as compatible as a nVidia card in some applications. I ran into some video driver problem in Linux and had to switch to a nVidia PCIe card, which seems better supported overall. There should be no such problem in Windows. This CPU runs quite well. It is stable, and handles virtualized machines without a problem. Stock heatsink and fan is adequate and quiet.
