AMD A-10 might be all the upgrade you need

This AMD processor is a real workhorse. I write novels and it works well with large texts and editing work. As a hobby I build video games and 3D models. This processor does very well with that sort of graphic work as well. I edit videos for my YouTube channel on the same machine, in fact the one I am writing this review with, and it does that well too. I upgraded from an A-4 to the A-10 that came with the board I purchased. It was a great decision. I run all of my apps, software on one desktop machine with zero problems.Read full review

Look like a good deal, but...

This APU is powerful and improve my computer. the problem with this, i bought used and the video chip doesnt work at all. So, i had to put an external video card to correct that problem. Another expense. So, it is not a good deal anymore. But everything work fine now.Read full review

Powerful but hot cpu

Solid processor outperforms many 6 core CPU’s. And includes a solid video card built in!
Make sure you have a solid cooling solution, this thing can overheat within a few minutes of starting.
I recommend a hyper 212, or if you have a small/thin case an Arctic Freezer 13.Read full review
