Great laser, crappy charger

Laser works great and is ver bright compared to other lasers that use AA's. The charger is janky though and broke into pieces the second time I plugged it into the wall.

Not only is this a bright and focusable laser pointer which will run a long time on a single charge, but it is also excellent for making holograms. Not many people care about that, but it is difficult to find a bright, reliable laser that will work for holography. This one does.

This laser is "right" strength.

I'm glad I researched them beforehand. I wanted something better than the garden variety red lasers that I currently own but didn't want something that would burn or be dangerous when in the hands of the less cognizant. This is as bright as I would ever want. I can see it on the clouds at night. It shines as far as the eye can see. The included kaleidoscope lens is quite entertaining and extraordinarily cool to shine on the trees at night. Down side: I didn't realize it didn't come with a battery. The battery it needs is a LI 18650. But my coworker's laser of similar strength is smaller in size and has the more convenient to find AA batteries but chews them up very quickly. Nice astronomy laser!

Purchased several green lasers. This was the lowest priced model, but my favorite style. We all know that a $8 5mW green laser won’t light a match so don’t expect a miracle. The beam is highly visible and it CAN be focused. I’m happy with this purchase. No longevity data yet.Read full review...

Not perfect, but......

Had a problem with the removal of the "star" cap on the end to make it a straight laser beam. Took some channel locks to it and fixed it, but the star cap won't be getting back on. Bright beam and good except for that!Read full review...
