Quick and easy to use!
I liked that more than one came in the package, allowing you to have them in several different places one with your sewing, by the machine, one ine the box, another with your little emergency kit you carry with you, etc. This type of sniper is handy as you don’t have to look for the holes in the handle to place your fingers. You pick them up, snip the thread and it’s easy and fast. Read full review

They don't cut basic string at the top. Many of them don't squeeze without catching. Most of them look used even though they are individually wrapped. They are basically worthless. Disappointed.

Nice little snips! Great deal!!
How much should a bent piece of metal with sharpened edges really cost?? Well, some stores seem to think "an awful lot", given the prices of $3.98 to $22.00- for ONE- which I personally think is ridiculous. These handy snips hit the basics, no more, no less. Nice sharp edges (to snip those tiny thread ends on the first shot)? Check. Nippy little points? Yup- you can get into those tiny corners with ease. Safe? Believe it or not, that little two-sided "bridge" between the two sides of the snips have two interlaced "L" bends, so as to help keep the sharp tips overlaid upon each other, and NOT gaping open ready to poke your fingertips! I needed tiny snips for grandkids' craft projects, too, and they are coming to an age to be respectful of sharp edges and points. I also needed mini-pruners for my garden. These handle BOTH! My pair for my garden help nip out all those "false branches" on tomato plants with deadly accuracy. You can't chop out heavier branches, but with such an easy-to-carry-and-use little snip, you can catch most of those errant nasties while they are still in their botanical infancy. As a bonus, by cleaning out more of the problem branches earlier in the growth of the plant, more plant energy goes to parts you want to KEEP! PLUS, I still have 2 pair left! One will likely end up in my model train toolkit, and the other as a back-up by my sewing machine. A buck a pair- a great deal! Read full review

defective blades
The blades don't line up on one of the snips and it has defects on the cutting edge. The others seem ok.

Sewing Snips - Great item -
Excellent in all aspects of sewing and, I find very useful for cutting threads and find they are so handy. Cons - But not their intended purpose for cutting material. I use then all the time while sewing, and they sit next to the machine at hands reach.Read full review
