24 Season 3 starts slow then takes off BOX SET

IF you missed any of Season 3 of 24, get it on the box set and watch it the way it was ment to be seen... One episode after another. With All 24 episodes, back to back --- with out interruption --- you can get a whole new feeling of the show.

Unfortunately the Box set does not allow you to play each episode back to back with out going back to the main menu... so you have a little interruption between episodes - aside from that the box set is great.

Season 3 builds on season two and one... so get and watch them first... otherwise you will be lost. Jack's Daughter, Kim, is at CTU now dating his partner, which adds suspense. If Kim wasn't messed up by now, you can imagine that she is being well pushed over the edge.

Jack is fighting an drug addiction which complicates his ability to do his job - and with the looming threat of a nasty virus being released on the US must work outside the limits of his authority, and excluding his partner, Kim's boyfriend.

You can expect not to know what is coming next....

24 Season 3 - Outbreak

24 is an action series that is set in real time. Each hour long episode covers the period on one hour of a 24 hour day. The cast stars Keifer Sutherland as Jack Bauer Lead Field Agent of a Counter Terrorism Unit. Elisha Cuthbert plays his daughter Kim Bauer who now also works at CTU. This season deals with a terrorist named Stephen Saunders who has a genetically designed contagious virus equivalent to ebola being used to threaten the president of the United States to dictate foreign policy or the virus would be released into the main population centers. Jack and his team have to find Saunders and the virus containers before an outbreak tears the country apart. 24 is a very well written show keeping you on the edge of the seat throughout each episode.Read full review...

Hooked from this season on!

This was my first season of watching 24, man was I hooked! The adrenaline rush and excitement from week to week was unreal. I don't think I have ever seen a show that could keep me so in tune, such that when I missed one, man would I feel disappointed. This season Jack really goes undercover (becomes a junkie) just to infiltrate a Mexican gang in order to convince them of purchasing a virus threat. The story continues with Jack meeting up once again with Nina, this lady has more lives than a cat. President Palmer incorporates his ex-wife Sherry, once again (why I will never figure this out!) Anyways, as in all long running shows it goes through boring stories at times, but thankfully these are short when you are return to the action. I watched every season afterwards and purchased season 1 & 2 (actually I purchased fromm 1 - 7 and can't wait for season 8 to come out in DVD.Read full review...

24 - Season 3

Aside from recurring racist themes, and the presentation of torture as a successful method of interrogation, this series is well paced and suspenseful. I have some problems with the CTI teams being able to cross the LA area in 10 minutes, but that is just a minor issue. I have a bit more issue with the team at the office working 24 hours straight. Units like these have three 8 hour shifts, and the teams trade off every 8 hours; even if the field units are up for 24 hours, the home team needs to be fresh and rested...not bleary-eyed and fatigued.
