I never trusted the navigation system in my 2017 Highlander. The routes it would provide were odd so I would depend on the navigation from my phone. This new update appears to have corrected the issues I had with it.
The mini SD card itself was plug and play. Once inserted into the card slot, the system software was updated and the map system seems to work correctly, giving me correct routes from my house.

2014 RAV4 - SD Card Update - Very Reasonably Priced
So far, so good. The new SD card seems to be working properly. No surprises during the installation. It took about 7 minutes for the update to download. Best part was, all of the previous addresses and favorites were retained in the system memory.
It's unfortunate that with the current status of technology today that the auto manufacturers don't have a way to update automotive navigation systems via a laptop computer.Read full review...

First and foremost the item was exactly as described. I was concerned at first because when I inserted it and started my car it told me to shut the car off and start it. So I did just that and it gave me the same message again. I waited and it started to install. While it was installing it gave me an error message.
