More complicated than expected

Product would not program remote controls for my 2011 Chevy. Therefore was not as advertised. It would program the keys which was OK except you can program your new keys with an original key.

Do not buy this item.

The product has a screen defect; many stuck pixels. The product description stated that the product would work with Subaru and Subaru is not in the list of makes in the remote programming list.

Not Sure if it Works...

Overly complicated and unclear instructions. Homemade disc was included for drivers. Feels kinda scammy, to me. BUT!!! I can't tell if I should be filing a claim or if I am just too dumb to figure it out. I SUSPECT it doesnt program fobs, but does program actual keys.Read full review

Key programmer

I purchased this with the understanding it would be simple to use. While the parts are of fairly good quality the software is terrible. The little CD that comes with it loads very hard. Then the instructions are almost impossible to understand. A second download is required but does not exist. I am very disappointed in my purchase.Read full review

OK for older model cars.

Does not work well on cars made after 2012. Takes a couple of tries to get keys to program.

power supply doesn't work. no reply from customer service. bought additional power supply only to find it does not do Saab keys as advertised.

TOTALLY JUNK!!! DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME.

i bought his to help fix my parents' 2003 Civic. ALL I GET IS ERROR MESSAGE. I ended up calling the locksmith and had them program it. The guy charged me $160 for less than 5 minutes he spent to program it. I wish this device actually works. So save time and call the locksmith.Read full review

BUY only if you have WIN7 with a 9 pin serial port

Could not find WIN7 computer with 9 pin serial port to download the upgrade. Xp computers have the port but are too old for compatibility. Do not have a WIN 10 with a 9 pin serial port either
