I opened the box excited to build this project. After a very confusing assembly process I began to realize that the instructions are for a different board and none of the connections it tells you to make caue the printer to work. For your conveinvece you should be looking for drivers and schematics for the GT2560 - Geeetech. This will allow you to get close. to final. if your board works.
As Advertised materials.
Toolset -I am dissapointed at best with what is said to be included and what is included.
It is advertised here that you will receive a toolset. and a decent looking toolset at that. In reality what you get is 4 allen wrenches and a cheap flat head screwdriver.
Filament. As advertised it says you get 250g of a random color free. In reality you dont get anything. of the sort.
SD Card- This is false and apparently where the software is for the product. However you will not receive this so dont get your hopes up.
Power Cord. Included as promised.
Software.
As advertised it says that this unit will print .gcode and .stl files. The SD Card reader reads only .gcode files. No other file type works. .GCODE ONLY Folks. Not to mention I received no software so I can only print from an SD Card and this is perhaps the only reason I do not file claim with Paypal for a chargeback!
Overall I am not in anyway happy with this product. It is not advertised correctly or assembled correctly when you use the directions. (I only assume because after 3 days trying to guess and research this I am still not printing)

You get what you pay for
This is a cheaply made product with cheap components and a flawed design. The extruder doesn't push well and will mess up your print if you don't manually feed it when it struggles, which means it will take you a long time and a lot of waiting to get a decent print. The instructions are bad and the kit was missing an important screw, so I had to pull out my dremmel to make a shorter screw work. Any temperature variation will mess up the print and then the extruder will freeze and your project will be ruined. It needs an enclosure to operate well by itself. I will by buying some plexiglass and a metal extruder for this to see if those make this device functional.Read full review

Poor quality
Good: The printer kit arrived on time with all parts, assembly was relatively straightforward.
Bad: Wiring the printer was a nightmare, had to search online for the mainboard connections.
The glass buildplate is warped toward the center. With the extruder touching the four corners, the center of the plate cannot touch the extruder, turning the plate over, the center touches the extruder and the edges are not.
Had to remove the screw in the center right side, the elevator was getting stuck on screw.Read full review

No directions
I received my 3d printer and it was missing parts so I asked for them and got them and found out that not everything is as advertised and I didn't get an SD card or any instructions at all so I youtubed it. Look up BUILDING PRUSA I3 CHINESE CLONE. I put it in caps so people will see it and go to the video of the guy putting it together. It will guide you perfectly and help you out and my printer is working now.Read full review

I can and do recommend this product but I will warn the extruder is very cheap and I would recommend buying either the model with the all metal adjustable extruder with high torque motor or buy this one and buy the extra part for only 29$ with shipping. The directions were OK. There were a couple places that the numbers were messed up,but it was easy to figure out. There were a few spare parts, I found this pretty nice.
