great value

$135 including tax is great value for small house

lightweight makes installation easy

can run 1 shower and sink simultaneously but pressure drops

should have a 110v plug in instead of 2 D cells. We are worried the batteries won't last

no marking for which way batteries should be installed.

instructions were horrible

one of the pipes was loose when we tightened the connection. It did not leak luckily

shipping took 6 days instead of the promised 1 day

A tankless water heater

I have hooked the water to this heater I have hooked gas to this heater I put batteries in the heater and I cannot get this heater to light up I cannot get this thing to light the low voltage lights the battery powered lights the neon that's where it shows the temperature I'm not sure why and I need to know what else I can do to get this thing to work otherwise I've got to send it back I just need advice on a problem that could be stopping me from putting this thing into use. My review right now is a bit negative as I can not get this unit to light up. I'm sure my opinion will change once I get it the unit workingRead full review...

So far so good

Using this to heat my Intex pool. Wish the directions were a little more descriptive. Marking the battery polarity would also help. There is also a switch that is not mentioned. Just little stuff that could make it better. There is a summer/winter switch too without any explanation. Ill will see where we are at after a few months of operating the unit. I will say it heats the water nicely.Read full review...

Instant Gas water heater Tankless Home Install DIY

Instant Gas water heater Tankless. It must be said the water and gas connections are all 1/2 inch. Your regular home water source is 3/4 inch. You'll need an adapter. You'll need a 1/2 in gas nipple that fits your flexible gas hose. The water inlet and outlet on the water heater are too close together. I created an extension with 1/2 in copper with female and the other end, male, approx 5 inches (best 8 -9 inches) This allow me more room to fasten all the connections. Connect the gas last with yellow tape. Put plenty of white teflon tape on all the water connections. Watch the cold water connections because you can just unsrew it right out of the heater. Note: I said all that because you should put the double valve shutoff setup so that you can do some maintenance on the heater. You can close off the inlet and outlet while running a cleaning liquid through the system and out. Then put the batteries. Look at it carefully and you'll see one of the slots has the spring, which means negative. 2 D size batteries. Close the white door and twist to lock. Turn on the switch. You can't see anything until the hot water faucet is turned on and water goes through the heater. The hot water is not instant but it will get pretty hot. Adjust after you use it a few times: dishes, showers... Started using 1 week ago. Works well. Gas is a little loud. Buy water heater exhaust adapter to the original exhaust to the roof and good inlet air under the house? Read full review...

Great flue box

This device is poorly made and engineered. I have to replace the solenoid valve because the one equipped is not sufficiently powered to engage the actuator to allow for operation. The system could use a thermoregultion valve to prevent scalding, also the temp PID program is lacking, so I purchased all the parts to make my 160 dollar china heater into a product that will work. 180 dollars later i basically saved 60 by not buying one from a reputable manufacturer. MacGyver saves a penny here and there i guess. Read full review...

Tankless heater

Great heater for the money I've had mine running for a year I just bought a backup remember tankless water heaters run on lots of flow you cannot restrict the flow or they will shut off. I have mine adjusted so I turn on hot water full and it's the right heat around 510°. I think it's 49 c something like that so you have maximum flow it shuts off after 20 minutes so you have to turn water off turn back on resets I have old house with separate hot and cold that's what it likes if you have all in one hot and cold you have to keep it flowing so it just the hot so you're hot is on all the time if you turn it over to call to cool it off a little bit you're cutting off the flow to the water heater it will shut off because it will overheat with less flow of water you must keep maximum flow and check all settings the summer setting is the high gas setting I have it on the lowest gas setting It works perfect and the hot water flow set it on minimum mine will be maximum everything backwards Chinese check all settings mine are all backwards so far great heater you must get maximum flow lowest gas settings is still heats great the lower the heat on the gas the longer the tubes will last heating the waterRead full review...

Locate in a convenient place for adjustments.

It is a good product but takes time to get it adjusted. The temperature will change with amount of water flow. If your water pressure fluctuates the temperature of the water will fluctuate with it from very hot to cool.. Unit needs a steady flow.Read full review...

Excellent value! Works great!

I replaced a 50 gallon water heater with this unit for the entire house. You cannot run more than one hot water demand at a time. I.E. dishwasher, shower. However, you can do 10 showers in a row and never lose hot water. The savings on propane are evident by time, and my propane tank guage. I bought three, thinking I would need to hook up two in tandem for the house. But, one works great. I also have a walk-in bathtub, that needs 50 gallons to fill. With the old water heater, I would have to stop filling and wait 15 minutes for the water heater to recover. With this water heater, I have unlimited hot water. Replacement cost with this heater was approximately $480 with materials, and would have been approximately $1,150 with the old style heater. I would highly recommend.Read full review...
