Good buy!

Seasoned HVAC installer
Concerned only of installation in northern climates. Says in manuel heating under 20 degrees farenheit reduced efficiency greatly and not rated for heating under that temp.
Linesets are labeled standard but a metric flairing tool is best.
T-stat did have farenheit options just have to set it up.
Now to the wiring I was fortunate to install a unit in spain for my brother and learned there that the wall mounted head unit is where the line voltage goes first. In Ohio electrical code states a disconnect must be in eyesight of equipment. So units designed for US has line voltage to a condensers disconnect. Happy to install it for my father. He loves it in his apartment. Piggy backed line voltage off of a electric baseboard heater will be used as secondary heat source below 20 degrees.

Functions but not as a quality unit should. The fan speeds are very low on power causing the cool air too not travel far without additional fans

Unit works but save your time and money and try a different brand, insufficient power too the fan,
(Had too add a additional fan better than loosing 300.00 instal, only reads in Celsius, and the supposed oscillation horizontal and vertical not available Read full review...

Incredible System!

I installed this system today in about 5 hours (most of which was because of some logistic issues in my install). This system replaced an underrated room unit that failed I assume because it was overstrained.

My install is in an insulated 12 x 16 storage building. We have 3 other such buildings of different sizes, all have mini splits. By far this system not only performs better than those it is an incredible value! I was amazed that it came with the lines and the interconnect wiring. That makes it an even better value!

We live in south central Georgia and it was over 95 today. I had the doors open the whole time and once I fired up the system it took maybe 30 minutes to get down to 71!

I can’t say enough positive. No negatives! Oh one more thing the product description mentioned that the system was only available in centigrade.

Well. that wasn’t an issue but bonus, it’s actually in Fahrenheit!

If you’re looking for a system in this size, this is the one. Very very pleased!

GreT product

Can’t beat this for the money. I installed this in my garage and it’s working great. Wish I would have done it sooner. The condenser had a small dent in it but it didn’t cause any harm to the unit. I actually just left it as is. It cools my two car garage with no problem at all. I would recommend to anyone. They were pretty fast on getting the unit to me also. Took about 10 days. From date of purchase to get to my front door. Read full review...

keeps the power bills down.

after installing this heatpump my power bill dropped 100 dollars a month. when purchasing these devices make sure your sizing them appropriately. this one is being used to supplement an older heating and air system and once that is replaced it should reduce the load on the total system when it gets installed however get the line kit for it too. thats the only shortfall I can find with the system. but overall this thing is awesome. READ THIS BEFORE BUYING

I recently ordered two of these units and installed them in my home.

First of all another reviewer posted that this is a 110/115v unit. This is incorrect. This item is a 220v and requires a 30A double breaker and appropriate wiring.

Power runs from your breaker box to the INSIDE (blower). The blower then feeds power to the OUTSIDE part (the compressor) through an included power cable.

Installation is pretty straight forward. Install the plug in your house. Hook up power to the blower. Drill a hole in the wall, and run the copper tubing and the included power cord to the compressor outside. Make sure the connections on the copper tubing are tight, then open the valves connected to the copper tubing on the compressor.

The compressor is pre-charged with the correct amount of refrigerant.

That's pretty well much it in a nutshell. Turn it on, let it run for a few minutes while checking for leaks where you connected the copper tubing by squirting soapy water on the connections and checking for air bubbles. Tighten at need. Make sure and check out your local building codes, you will probably need to install a cut-off box near the compressor.

Comes with a remote control (Celsius only).

The unit itself is very quiet, and cools a 250 square foot room without any problem.

The inside blower makes about as much noise as on of those $20 box fans set on low. The outside compressor is only a tiny bit louder.

Works like a charm. Is VERY quiet. Cools a 18x15 foot room (with 9 foot ceilings) just like it should.

I've only had them for about a week, but they are working perfectly and I'm very happy with my purchase. I of course have no idea what it's going to do to my power bill, but I'll take the time to update this review in a few weeks if anybody asks.

Unbelievable

This product cools my 600 c.f. house. I'm totally impressed. Found an installer with a great price who had no issues installing. Almost everything came to install. The only issue with install was the Chinese plug, prongs were vertical, not horizontal. Spent $5. at local hardware on sceptical. 1 other issue was small dent in front which barely shows and doesn't affect performance. Now my only issue is I don't know how to change from celsious to Fahrenheit reading so I googled 72 degrees and set my mini at 22. I truly bought it for winter heat. I think I'll be pleased.Read full review...

I'd buy it again

Works great but you cant cut the lines and reflare them you must use the hole line so measure your lines for installation first. The only downfall is it reads in metric but that's easy to figure out.<br>As for heating and a/c wonderful and quiet!!!Read full review...
