New Video Card Must
Bought a new video card with the 8 pin Molex port and all my power supply cords are 6 pin. This snapped on perfectly tight and worked as it should the minute I fired up the machine with my new video card in it. Decent quality too, not flimsy plastic or cheap wires, substantial and will last. Great price too. The local ripoff brick and mortar store wants 9.95 for these.Read full review...

Fire hazard, stay far away
2 crimps weren't fully seated in the connector and the wiring is unlabeled (and no, it is NOT 18 gauge). The wiring gets HOT when running any sort of load (gaming/mining etc).
Don't cheap out on stuff like this. Spend a few more bucks and get a quality connector. This Chinese garbage is probably 22awg wiring with horrible quality crimps. Stay FAR away. Don't risk your house and family over a few dollars.Read full review...

Great 6-pin to 8-pin pcie power adapter for video card
This was a great option to provide a second 8-pin pcie power connector when your power supply only has one 8-pin and and 6-pin connector for my radeon hd7970. It powered up with no problem. CPU and motherboard showed no performance issues. Great item for those who can calculate that their power supply can meet their computer and especially ther video card requirements.

I got this to power my RX 570 in my t3500 and works great. The cable stays cool to the touch under load and fit and finish are very good. I wrapped mine in electrical tape until my cable loom arrives.UPDATE! while gaming for a few hours i noticed smoke coming from my case! it was this adapter ON FIRE! LUCKILY MY SIDE PANEL WAS OFF AND I KILLED POWER BEFORE THIS THING KILLED MY NEW rx 570! It literally melted down and caught fire. It seemed like a good enough cable....NOPE!.... Caution not adequate for High wattage video cards
I recommend the 8 pin adapter that combines two molex, or two sata power feeds just like the newer power units using a 6 + 2 8pin plug. There is a high possibility of burning out your power supply with a high wattage card. I learned the hard way.Read full review...
