I Love this receiver and every feature does what you ask except for when I tried wiring my HDMI through the receiver I wasn't able to get the 3D to work right so it could be just some of my configuration issues. This receiver has so many tweaks that you can do to it that I have given up on tweaking everything. Even with the HDMI issues I have been highly recommending this receiver to all of my friends. The bluetooth feature is hands down the biggest wow factor to all of my friends. If the HDMI was working properly this would've been a no brain-er for 5 Stars!Read full review...

Great amp. Setup should include how to hookup a passive subwoofer.

You can't go wrong with Pioneer. I bought my first Pioneer amp (SX-1050) in the '70's. I have a Sony that is good but the Pioneer is better.
The only problem I had was with setup. The manual does not address hooking up a passive subwoofer. I have a Bose speaker system that uses a passive subwoofer. I sent the subwoofer out for repair. $150 later I find out it is a setup problem.
Bose answered my email, Pioneer didn't. Bose told me what to change and it fixed the problem. Pioneer needs to address how to hookup a passive subwoofer in the manual, ie...Bose systems.
I'm very happy with my new Pioneer amp but they could work on their customer service.

Great product, for the money. tough to beat!

This is a great little receiver. Has 99% of the features you need and enough clean power to do the job. I would recomend adding a small fan be placed on top facing down, to help cool the receiver if continuously playing at the levels that I do! LOUD.Read full review...

The perfect receiver to fit with my old units, very fast turn around.

I was looking for a pioneer that 16.5 inch wide. I looked for weeks. I finally found it. The receiver arrive very quick and hooked up easy. Great sound. I need two zone and it is perfect. A boat anchor disguised as a receiver.

The receiver has at least 3 non-working in/out feeds! It's no better than the non-working one I was trying to replace. I should have done more homework and inquiries.

Awesome product

Purchased receiver and ceiling surround sound speakers for our new house. Reciever works great, ipod compatable, and easy installation. Price was fantastic compared to local retail stores.

Very easy to set up. Nice sound. Ipod feature is really nice, just plug it in front with supplied cable. No audio return to TV though. I think you should have that option without having to first run it all to your tv and then to the receiver with optical.Read full review...

Piece of junk,

Piece of junk, I did not expect pioneer to relies this kind of product.
Although sound quality is good, build quality is so poor I saw better done in the 80s in china.
All face is plastic, volume knob is bad, gets heated like an oven…etc.
