Classic

An unusual PS2 game - Tron like graphics and amazing tunes this is such a great game. Child of Eden on PS4 was the successor but Rez has been released as a PS4 VR game now. Probably one of the best PS2 games ever, even though it originally came out on Dreamcast, if you can get this for a reasonable price just buy it. You wont regret it.Read full review...

A super cool idea, if you have a good sound system to play it through.

I had the sound coming out of a P.A speaker so it was a very immersive experience. Unfortunately I am rubbish at it.

CULT CLASSIC EXCELLENT, WORTH THE MUSIC ALONE!

Great cult classic, most people just played the demo.
very easy intuitive controlls and interactive backing music.
Its a visual delight on a led tv running 60htz.
played over 4 levels you battle to escape cyber space to reasimulate back into the real world.
Its a fixed first person shooter which flys through increasingly sophisticated landscapes with greater visuals the more you progress. classic end level bosses with increasing difficulties. only one player game but has the equivilant of a time trial mode for points. people of all ages can play. music could be describes as progressive psy trance with a hint of cold war rocket launches.
will take a few gos to complete and could drive you mad as there are no continues. per level save points. looks even better renderd through a ps3.
extreemly rare and you could expect to pay 10-20 pound in a retail games shop. only dissadvantage is short game but if its your genre its 9/10 darrendbb.

Quite simply THE best PS2 game EVER!!!!

Nothing negative can be said about REZ, except hat its doesn't last for eternity. Its one of those games that grabs you by the scruff of the neck, slaps you about a bit an then pulls you in for a swift knee to the groin area. It won't be to everybodys taste but what game can. This will enrich your PS2 gaming experience forever. Based loosely around a "TRON" theme your sent into a computer as an anti virus to stop a computer self destructing as its become to put it a better way "paranoid" and believes its worthless. With an awesome dance/trance soundtrack which you change the sound of depending on what and when you destroy the targets.

You will not be disappointed with this game. Its highly addictive, graphically gorgeous and above all different.
