Asus RTAC1200 Router
I'm very pleased with this router. I have wired power line Link and wireless connections going to this router. We have several guest staying with us now and as many as 19 devices using this router at one time with no issues after setting up the traffic manager QoS settings.
We live in a big house and the distance range compares to our previous router which was a top end router.
For the price point, performance and ease of use this is a great router. I would highly recommend it for most people.Read full review...

Not gigabit ports.
They wasted my time. They advertised gigabit ports but it's false. Once I got it and tested, they are limited to 100mb. Even the incoming WAN port is limited to 100mb

Awesome, easy to use, great value!
This was very easy to set up right out of the box. Simple instructions, I had no problems whatsoever. I was using a very old (like 10 yrs!) 2.4ghz wifi router that was getting slower and slower, turns out all our channels were crowded. We couldn't even get reception in the other room anymore. Switched to this ASUS dual band router and WOW!!! My wifi speed jumped from 20mbps on our old one, to 60+ mbps immediately! That's matching our LAN speed. Insane difference! I highly recommend this product, and try using a wifi analysis to see what channels are being used, so you know what's best ;) My only complaint is the website for router setup doesn't have an option for port-fowarding, so I'm not sure how to do it using this router software.Read full review...

This router is easy to setup, and will support anything the average family will throw at it.
I have 150 meg internet from Mediacom Cable. This router will push the max speed I am getting. My upload is 67 meg with a speed test.

Arrived quickly, as depicted, new condition, functions properly. That being stated, I had to call customer support, to get it functioning properly. Following the quick start guide, did not make it operational. Customer support hung up on me, and was not interested in helping me diagnose, and understand why the router would not function in wireless mode. On the cable it functioned fine. Eventually, I got it functioning properly in wireless mode, and it performs really well. DLink has the best customer service, in my experience, and they’re routers are great too. However, the ASUS has a lot of features, that may not be available in other products firmware, which is why I wanted an ASUS. My wifi camera doesn't work now on this router worked fine on net gear router says it don't have wifi signal tried and tried no good . Great 802.11AC Router
Finally traded up my first generation 802.11G router for a third gen. It's about time! I'm sure any 802.11AC router would have worked. All I can say is this one was pretty easy to set up, just plug it in and go, then tell all your network devices the new wifi network name and pw. The sid and password are set, which I like. Haven't tried to mess with administrative settings, so can't say how easy that is our what it's capable of.
