I have been a long time Nakamichi fan, my first tuner was a TD-800. This cd/tuner was Nakamichi,s last stereo that lives up to the standard Nakamichi was once famous for.! This is a elegant looking tuner with great sound quality specifications unmatched by others. Match this unit up with a sound processor or equalizer and on to high quality amplifiers and you will hear sounds,notes you have never heard before on songs that your'e familiar with.
If your looking for options bells and whistles, you will find none with this stereo. But if you are looking for pure sound reproduction,this is the one that can do it.
It's one drawback is I-Pods have too low of voltage to be connected to the unit.
It's a beautiful and classy looking stereo, with good old knobs and will be a part of my system for years to come. Mark........Read full review...
