Cat showed huge improvement within 1 week, and blood work done after 4 months showed healthier kidney values!
I've been using Porus One for my 12-year-old cat with chronic kidney disease (CKD) for about 5 months now, and it has made an enormous difference in his health, both in his behavior and his tested kidney values.
Within the first week of giving it to him, his symptoms improved a great deal. He went from having very little energy to wanting to play with spirit and vigor several times per day. His appetite improved, and he no longer acted listless and depressed.
Prior to starting the Porus One, my husband and I had watched his symptoms slowly worsen since he was diagnosed 4 months prior, and then take a quicker turn for the worse over a few weeks. I was getting so sad, feeling like I was going to lose him within the next 2 months at the rate he was going. But after seeing the dramatic turnaround once he'd started the Porus One, I felt like he still had a really good chunk of time left.
After he'd been on the Porus one for 4 months, we thought it would be good to have another vet visit and get his blood rechecked. We were thrilled to get the results, because his kidney values actually improved! All his prior blood work, going back about one year (spaced about 3-4 months apart), had shown his kidney values getting worse. Seeing the new kidney values actually improve (!) after all that was exciting proof that he was indeed better.
It's really easy to administer. Mix it into a small amount of food that you're sure your cat will devour entirely. Wait 2 hours after giving your cat any medication before you administer the Porus One. (I mix my cat's Porus One with Tiki Cat Stix Chicken Grain-Free Cat Food Topper, a gravy-like product that my cat loves. He licks it all up in less than a minute. I can get about 3 days' worth out of one Stix package. Note that the chicken flavor has the lowest phosphorus content by dry weight among the flavor choices.)
Of course, there is no cure. But we are devoted to making the time he has left be real quality time, so being able to help him feel better and live more like a healthy cat is amazing. I highly recommend Porus One for your cat with kidney disease.
