Reliable Router wiith lots of options.
Great Routers if you can keep them cool. Using USB ports for fans on router and modem. Attached using velcro on both. Also use Asuswrt-Merlin firmware for additional features and options. This is the 4th refurbished unit I have purchased. All still working. You can see the temps for this router that has been on all day. Unplugged fan for last photo to show difference. It will continue to rise to 79c if I remember correctly. (CPU) I'm very satisfied with these. Never really had any issues with the four.Read full review...

Capable Modern Router with Some Range and Feature Limitations
Capable modern router. Dual band is nice with some guest network capability. Was hoping for a bit more range My 9-year old Netgear outperformed here with tiny, internal antennas. Was also hoping to run a media server with the USB 3.0 connection, but so far that's a no-go with Plex. Awesome Router
Router is in perfect condition, and works extremely well. I would, however, suggest loading Merlin onto it. I bought this for a comparison, and after a few days of running the AC1900P, I returned my new Linksys router. I've been a Linksys fan for a long time, but no more. Packed full of features, and I like its orientation. It doesn't lay down flat, but on it's end. I've had no dropped connections, and it works great with my AP. Go ahead and get one. Excellent Poduct with Extensive Documentation
Exactly what I needed, works perfectly out of the box. Great price when buying refurbished and I know it will work. AC1900 means it supports a mesh and I can link additional units for those hard to reach zones like the far corner of the basement and far corner upstairs bedroom if needed. ASUS has provided excellent documentation / user manual downloadable from their website. In summary it was easy to set up and I had it configured in no time at all and connected to all my wireless devices. Dual-band allows 6 separate networks to be set up (3 for each band) if I want to set one up for each kid and put on parental controls or add a guest network for visitors. I added an AC Infinity USB fan (80mm) to the back of the router to make sure it is cool and extend the life even though is feels reasonable on temperature without the fan...I wanted to make sure. Excellent router
I used this router to replace and older Cisco router that I loved and still worked well for the most part. The router works as described and the price cannot be beat vs buying new elsewhere. So far I haven't had any issues. While I did lose internet a couple of times since installing this router, I have not determined if it was the router or the ISP. Haven't had any issues since then.
The power is good - I can get a decent signal across my entire property, including the back end of the basement which has a metal beam and concrete that interferes with the signal from upstairs.
It was easy to set up. Anything new takes some getting used to, but I was able to replicate my old router's settings so I didn't have to reconnect every single WiFi device in my house.Read full review...

Originally using the router/modem provided by my ISP. It was trash. This router combined with a standalone Arris Surfboard modem has increased speed 50%!
We have a 100Mbps connection, yet with our new setup, speedtests routinely hit over 150Mbps! A pleasant surprise!
Wifi performance is what we were really wanting, and this Asus router performs! Link speed is double/triple our previous, getting nearly gigabit on 5ghz and +300Mbps on 2ghz.
Signal is also incredible. With the router in a less than ideal spot in the house, we still get blazing fast speeds in all rooms, and maybe 30% drop in strength at the farthest rooms (Impressive for a 90 year old structure... Previous router barely made it 2 rooms away before becoming unusable.)
We have yet to cause any lag, even when streaming 4k movies, playing online games, and general internet surfing simultaneously. Everything is snappy.

First upgraded to Asuswrt-Merlin 384.5 firmware. Then purchased a Dual 80mm USB Powered Cabinet Cooling Kit from Coolerguys and attached to the back with Velcro. Pushing the air into the back of the RT-AC1900P it has dropped the temp +/- 35 deg C. Have had ZERO issues with this router. Oh, it is refurbished but looked new to me. Heat is the killer on fan-less cooled routers and modems..My modem is mounted on the wall directly above the router and receives some of the moving air from the dual 80mm fans.. Also like the fact this sits vertically. Wi-Fi range is very good. May purchase another if ever available again.Read full review...
