Easy to install
I loved how easy they were to install and put on the doors and windows. They are not super loud but loud enough that I will be able to know if someone opened a window. I put one on my back screen door and forgot to turn it off and it definitely startled me when i opened the door. I would for sure order more.Read full review...

Low audio
They seem fine except the audio isn't a ear piercing sound I was looking for. I wanted something to be heard a couple of rooms away and the sound isn't loud enough to cause confusion as to where it is located. Display case alarms
bought these to protect some display cases in a small museum. The cases are often out of staff's sight and are sometimes not locked. People try to "look" a little closer at something and these alert us when the case is open. They came with batteries in them. I have two comments on these units. One is that, is the sticky tape is VERY sticky. The second you touch it to something even to try and position it the glue sticks! Work very carefully. I had to replace some tapes with double sided foam tape from the hardware store. The second comment is orientation. The magnet must be located on only one side. Sometimes you have to turn the unit upside down to make the 2 parts work together. Also found these in my local Dollar store for a DOLLAR and they can be oriented to the magnet from either side. easy to install
I like these, there easy to install, the batteries last about a year so I just get more of these to change the batteries instead of changing the device. I personally do not need a 24 hour monitoring system in my home because we live in Florida and we have a stand your ground law here, all i need to do is hear it go off and if the intruder comes in or doesn't run off, oh well, every time he goes to the bathroom he will remember the time he tried to come in my house uninvited because, i will shoot at the genitals with my shot gun, not the head. All I can say is they work, But not very loud. You get what you pay for. You can hear them better at night. So I guess they are ok, It will let you know if someone opens the door, I should had bought some that were louder. Also they will sound when the door opens but when the door closes they shut right back off. Faulty alarms
Last 2000 alarms purchased only lasted about 2 weeks in the on state but deactivated with the magnet. the current draw in the presence of the magnet is 0.8 to 1.8 amps. Comparing this to the capacity of the LR44/AG13 batteries this 2 week max life is predictable. Construction of the alarm looks good but there is a fundamental design flaw.Read full review...
