Marilyn Monroe Confidential by Lena Pepitone, William S

This book was very interesting to read. There was something special about knowing it was written by someone who was so close to Marilyn. It gave a very personal perspective to the type of person she was and you somehow felt like you were being given details that no one else knew. Very easy book to read and follow. The only "disappointment" was that I was expecting more of a climax at the end when Marilyn died, while very personal to the author, there were not a lot of details provided on what happened on Marilyn's last days.Read full review...

Having a lost "friend" back 2 read 25yrs+/ re-read...

I missed this M.M. bio out my large collection(for that time) I know I read & re-read this book more than others, but I did look & look & look at the Other's Pix too! I have missed my Marilyn books for too long and I may not re-build the whole thing & there are so many new(!!!!!) ones now but I remember many parts of this one the most. That is my "review" but look for another one soon.Read full review...

Very sad but very enlightening...

Although previous reviews almost guided me into not purchasing
this book, I am so glad I did. I was very impressed with what her NY housekeeper had to say. Very sad, the lifestyle of MM while married to AM. Overall, a very good read...Read full review...
