The 4 stars are because, on one hand, the quality of the product is excellent, and it really does what it promises.
Gives you a VERY wide and cushiony place to park your rear end on the bicycle. Maybe is a 5.
However,...you'll need to learn to ride the bike again.
You don't notice, but you use the tip of the seat to help yourself mount the bike, and start pedaling, and maintain balance as well.
I didn't know that until I got this seat... I ended removing and changing for one with the "nose or tip"
This seat, works OK-ish on a bicycle that you can sit straight up. If you need to lean forward, you'll be constantly slipping and falling from the seat.
I tried to give it a fair chance, but even starting to pedal the bike was a challenge. I'm 6-5, about 260 lb, on a big mountain bike. I tried it on my wife's "city bike", where you can sit straight up, and had a slightly better experience, but not enough to keep it.Read full review...
